The location of the hotel is perfect and the staff was excellent. Upon checking into the hotel, I told the staff that it was our honeymoon and they kindly upgraded us to a beach front hotel from a partial beachview room. The view was spectacular. We saw the surfers, the sunrise, the thousands of tourists roaming waikiki beach, and a Hawaiian performance. My husband and I had the time of our life and would definitely go back to the Circle hotel simply for the fabulous location.

It's location - close to all activities - across from beach. No pool - not much parking. Over allI was pleased with my stay. All hotel people are helpful. Could use some updates.A great place for the price.

REALLY Excellent location, helpful staff- very happy with the selection of this hotel. will certainly stay again

The hotel was ideal. Our balcony had a partial ocean view, it was great going out on the balcony and watching the waves come in. The lady at the tour desk, was so sweet and very helpful with our choice of tours. Very informative and friendly. The front desk was great too, they were all friendly and would answer any question we had and gave us great information on local restaurants and stores. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay there again. There was fresh Kona coffee in the open air lobby every morning. There is no room service but restaurants are right there within walking distance.

We spent 2 days there and were comfortable with it. The best part about this hotel is the location. It is right across the street from Waikiki beach. Don't expect luxury, but for the money it is a decent value. It kind of took me by surprise that there was no lobby (just an outside counter) but it was very clean and kind of art-deco. Our room was ocean view and looked right out on the beach, which was great. The room is tiny (two people are cramped) but clean. The bathroom is old but again clean. It is a fine room as long as you are planning on not spending much time in it. Did not have a lot of interaction with the staff, but they seemed fine.

Staff was friendly (especially the maid service). The location is great but the bathroom and especially the shower is not acceptiable

The location was great- right on the beach. The elevator did not go into the parking garage, so you had to lug your bags up the parking ramp in front of the hotel.

Fantastic location all that you need for a hotel just across the road to beach.Excellent service , beautifully clean rooms and great views.

Having been coming to this hotel for 15 yrs, I have seen it evolve.. YES! the rooms are small. YES! the bathrooms are also small. BUT...the location and the views are BIG! (The pricing is perfect.) Most importantly, the STAFF is A-One! I find the management ALWAYS tries to accomodate you, the desk clerks are friendly (Jan is a true delight and a gem) and the housekeeping is excellent. I have never had a problem at this hotel. About 4 years ago I was there with my husband who was then in a wheelchair. Again, the staff was fantastic and offerred assistance whenever needed. Rather than just toss beach 'toys' (floats/boogie boards etc.) away when guests leave them, the hotel has them available for all to use. Downsides? Well, there is a homeless problem and you can see it at night all along the beach. Internet is not included and is extra and there is no guest computer station to use so you must bring your own laptop or go to a cybercafe. Also, for longer stays, because of size, there is no dresser , just shelves built into the closet. Parking, while secure, is limited and tight. Will I be back? IF I return to Hawaii......you bet!

A very different hotel, with great care to detail for the price. Very clean and well amitained for an older hotel. Nothing like it, and the location is great. We did have a problem, but the staff was wonderful, and very helpful. I have stayed at 8 Waikiki hotels, and this is the best bargain property.

The location of the hotel was PREFECT! Right in the middle of the Waikiki beach with partial city view, what more can you ask for? The rooms weren't 4 star BUT the location made up for it. If you are on a budget and looking for a decent spot this is the place. Employees are super friendly, free beach towels and coffee in the morning.

Fantastic location. The room was noisy due to wind. It exceeded my expectations for comfort and cleanliness. Itturned out to be perfect, particularly given the location. I'd recommend it to friends.

The hotell description indicates it was recently renovated, but there was chipped paint and rusted metal underneath in our bathroom and a big gash in the window shade in the room next door. The rooms are very small and cramped. Much too small for a family of 4 to stay in comfortably. I thought it was nice that they were trying to save electricity by leaving the refrigerator unplugged... until I found that the reason it was unplugged was because the cord was too short to reach the outlet. Two redeeming qualities were the location and that the beds weren't horrible.

It was a great location for surfing lessons (ask for Fred, he is great). We enjoyed hiking, biking, snorkeling, eating, shopping and relaxing. The view was awesome and the hotel staff were great. The shower is small for couples but the overall room was great. I would stay here again.

Great location and view of beach A little bit noisy Good bang for you buck. Great location and views of the beach. If you have a partial or full ocean view. Nothing too fancy but room was adequate and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Overall, this hotel is very good, the room is clean, the services are good, the staffs are friendly. Right on center of all the attraction. The only minus, the room is very small. I don't believe the stand up show would fit the guy that weighs over 300 lbs.

We booked this hotel because everything else within reason was filled. I also read the reviews on here and decided to trust them. Overall it is a great place to stay. When you first arrive you might think oh no because you check in outside. I had that thought myself. But that thought soon vanished. This hotel is located in the best part of Wakiki as far as the tourist area goes. The people at the front desk are very nice. The rooms are very small but how much time are you going to spend in a hotel room in Hawaii. We had a room that faced the ocean. There is nothing blocking the view. It was absolutly beautiful. Also you are looking down on the popular tourist area and Wakiki Beach. The beach is across the street but real easy to get to. Everything was very clean. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. If you are used to staying in fancy hotels or are looking for ammenities dont stay here. If you need a very clean room with a great location then this is for you. The only recommendation I would make is you probably need to book a room higher up because the lower ones might get some street noise. I was on the 11th floor and it was great.

We were there just for a night. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location right across the street from Waikiki beach. The only problem was the rooms are small and the shower is extremely small. Didn't spend much time in the room so it wasn't that big of a deal. Would definitely stay here again, great location for the reason we stayed in Waikiki.
