Large condo, clean, great staff.

We booked this hotel (which is actually a condominium) for many reasons. Travelling with my wife, son, father and stepmother; we needed some amenities that standard (and even luxury hotels) could not provide. What we got was two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully applianced kitchen with wares, a full living room/dining area, a washer/dryer combination unit in room, a partial-ocean view (go for the full) with a large deck/lanai, in-room safe, free wi-fi, three televisions (all with cable & HBO), free parking (good luck getting that in most hotels!), fantastic location (right in the heart of Waikiki on Kalakaua Avenue - literally across the street from Kuhio Beach swimming area) and a staff that was the nicest and most helpful I've ever met (they made us feel like family - part of their family)! The only bummer is they don't have a workout facility! I can't imagine anyone not being happy with this resort! Unless you are rich and used to being in eccentric (overpriced, needless and wasteful) luxury (and you can afford to eat out for every single meal) this should meet your every need! If you are prior military, go to the commisary at Hickham AFB and get your groceries for your stay, as you will save a lot of money (and the golf is very reasonable at Mamala Bay GC while you're there)! We will definitely go back to the ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Tower! Mahalo!

We were there June 2008, had a wonderful room with an ocean view that was breathtaking! The room was a 2 bedroom suite, facilities are somewhat old but well-maintained. The room had a complete kitchen and a washer-dryer. The balcony porch was huge! The pool was satisfactory (hotel pools are NEVER warm enough to suit me) and the jacuzzi was fantastic! The staff was excellent! We plan to return next year!!

From the moment we arrived we were treated first class. The staff was genuinely friendly and accomodating. There was a 12 hour perior we were without water but were advised of it when we checked in. During that time the staff went out of their way to make things easier. I will definitely stay there again without a doubt. It was like being home away from home.

Our family of 5 loved Beach Tower! The condomium setting of 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, washer/dryer and balcony gave us all plenty of "elbow room" and personal space. It was great beach towels/mats or chairs were provided at no extra charge as well as parking (we renteded 3 days). The location was perfect with the beach just across the street and short walking distance to restaurants, shopping, grocery store, and car rentals. We liked being able to fix a few breakfasts or quick lunches to pack for the beach making it more convenient for us. Plenty of kitchenware available. I like also the B.T. provided dishwasher soap/laundry detergent for us to use. Front desk was friendly and very helpful with maps and directions. All the bellman were exeptional!! They had a warm smile and greeting for us at all times making us feel like "family'. Housekeeping did a great job coming in 2 times a day and leaving treats on our pillows in the evening. We were on the 15th floor and had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony. Would recommend trying to go above the 18th floor as we did see into rooms from the Circle Hotel just off to our right--still a good view of the ocean though and the condo is nicely decorated. Of the 4 elevators, 1 or 2 were out of service quite often having us have to wait longer than I would think necessary. Also, elevators need some cosmetic work-look worn down inside. Overall, we would be extremely pleased to stay here again and would recommend it to families and/or groups.

We upgraded to a deluxe view room on this hotel. Even the partial view rooms give a great aview of the beach(right across the street), but the deluxe view is even better. We took one step outside, cross the street and we are on the beach. The view is spectacular. The free Valet parking was wonderful and everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little dated, but the bathrooms were upgraded along with some of the furniture. It has full balconies with chairs, ottoman and table for outside dining or relaxing with the beautiful view. The washer and dryer came in very handy. We had a queen bed(very comfortable mattress) in the master bedroom with a private bath. The second room had two twin beds and the second bathroom right outside. It also had a queen sleeper sofa. We got nightly cleanup and turn down service as well. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and eat in. We had breakfast on the lanai every morning with a beautiful view of Waikiki Beach. The only complaint we had was that the kitchen floor wasn't cleaned very well. Other than that, it was perfect. They also have a Bose Sound system, DVD players on each television and Free wired internet. The pool was the perfect temperature and the spa is large and comfortable. They also have a Sauna. We will definitely stay here again when we go back.

The hotel staff was great but I was disappointed there was no restaurant or fitness facility on site. The pool was a lot smaller than I thought. The hotel seemed a bit old but I think they were working on renovations. Great location across from Waikiki beach and great view. We stayed in a suite so there was room for everyone in my family.

This "all apartment hotel" is great. We were on the 29th floor and the view was fantastic! Our apartment was newly renovated, very comfortable, and HUGE. Very nice kitchen, big balcony and nice furnishings. My family loved this place. The washer and dryer came in very handy. Be sure that you call ahead directly to the hotel and request a renovated room on the higher floors. Might cost a bit more but well worth it. The location of this hotel is perfect as it is close to all of the cool stuff on Wikiki. We have stayed in many hotels and have never found a better staff than the people that run this hotel. Friendly, caring and efficent. Knew our names (even the kids) on the 2nd day. Pool is basic but clean and nicely maintained. Great hotel for families or couples traveling together (tho one of the bed rooms has 2 twins). Safe Travels!

The rooms are state of the art with a washer and dryer in the unit I stayed in. Even had a full kitchen. The room was a huge 2 bedroom layout with the biggest lanai I have ever had the luxury of hanging out on. Staff was super friendly, they really give you the royal treatment. The location is great, right across the street from the beach.

Great value for the money. There were two of us for a one week stay (7 nights), so we had a one bedroom ocean front suite. Huge lanai, great view of the ocean and beach across the street. Large living and dining area with well appointed furnishings. Full kitchen, with all the utensils one would need. We ate most meals in, which saves a lot of money in Honolulu. There is a supermarket just a few blocks from the condo, as well as several ABC stores within a block or two. The bedroom was large with access to the lanai also. More than ample closet, dresser and storage space. Very nice double sink bathroom. Washer and dryer in the unit was also a great convenience. There was a tv with dvd player in both the living room and the bedroom. There is also free internet access in each unit. Staff is remarkable, extremely friendly and helpful. Practically all tour buses stop right across the street. The International Market Place is just a couple of blocks away. The zoo and aquarium is a short walk away along the beachfront road. Beach towels and other eqipment are available on request and is complimentary. Be sure to bring binoculars to observe the different boats plying the ocean. The sunsets were gorgeous. We were there during the Chinese New Year, and the fireworks display viewed from our lanai were spectacular. Twice a day room cleaning and nightly turn down service was nice, but not always necessary, especially if we were in the room, but just leave the do not disturb sign on the door. If we were in a hurry and didn't have time to wash dishes, they would be done when we got back. Great Service. Highly recommend.
