One of the finest hotels in Idaho! Everything about the Ashley Inn is classy. We enjoyed our stay there at the end of our travels on this trip...And an excellent stay it was. MG, Boise, ID

The motel was nice, but we searched for B&B's. It should NOT come up in a B&B search, because it is NOT one! It is a very nice motel!

We are well travelled, but I've got to tell you that as soon as we walked in the front doors, I knew I was going to like it. It's large (66 rooms) and yet it felt homey and comfortable. There's even a baby grand piano in the lobby. Friendly staff, right down to the housekeepers. We loved our room. It was different than our friend's room. Turned out each room is not the same as any other, like a B&B. Both rooms had fireplaces, bay window seating areas and views of the mountains, but ours also had a therapy tub for two. They spoil you by serving freshly baked hot cookies and ice cold milk every evening. I'm afraid we made pigs of ourselves, they were so good. Since the inn is only about 4 years old, the mattress was is great shape and we got a really good night's rest every night. We woke up to a wonderful breakfast buffet with waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. Our friends had biscuits and gravy, also. A cheese omelet gave me the protein I needed for a day on the golf course. I don?t know how many things they offered, but we were full when we left. There are so many things to do around there that we?ll be back for sure. We highly recommend it. In the summer, they have a scenic Railroad ride and/or Whitewater rafting down the Payette River. Also as a guest, we can use their kayaks and canoe on a quiet part of the river. We're coming back this summer with some of our family to do this- great renion site.

We had our wedding at The Ashley Inn and it turned out beautifully! The staff was so helpful and willing to work with all my requests! Since our wedding we've been back two or three times and have been so happy with each stay! The rooms are beautiful and relaxing, the staff is friendly, and the pool and wonderful breaksfast just make it all such a great experience! I would stay here again and again! (Also, we're on their newsletter list and we are offered great deals quite often! I wish we could take advantage of them all!)

Due to an error in booking we ended up with the Governor's suite at the same price of our reservation. The room was magnificent as was the service. The double person jetted bath, oversized shower, and mahogny fireplace wall made us feel like royalty. The scenic train ride to Smiths Ferry completed a very special weekend. The room was worth every penny of the full price. The Inn keepers made us part of their family.

Walking into the Ashley Inn we expected it to be like all the other hotels we've been to, but we were surprised. Just walking into the lobby, we felt like we had come to our friend's expensive home as a personal guest. It is family owned with 67 rooms but feels more like a large B&B. Great breakfast buffet & nightly hot cookies. The heated pool/spa/fitness room were never closed to us. Nice conference room- thinking about having our business meeting there next fall. We're coming back to ride the scenic train, go whitewater rafting & golfing this summer.
