weekend breakThis hotel is ideal for couples and families, you are made very welcome our room was lovely and spacious and spotless we stayed for two nights, there was lots of choice for breakfast it was hard to decide, we had a wonderful time and you are not all that far from the sea front so no need to catch a bus or worry about parking.

smallest room ever stayed in1although we were early arriving we did get our room keys although we were told to come back later to access our room,we didn't see anyone again till breakfast! our room was the smallest room I have ever stayed in two suitcases filled the floor, and it was taller than it was wide!!!! bathroom looked great but the shower was really poor.reviews had raved about the breakfast but for us it was only avarage and although they advertised black pudding ,they ran out and didn't offerany alternative.to me it was expensive for what we got.

Cleveland Way AccommodationAs walkers on Cleveland Way we found this to be very convenient and good value accommodation. A friendly welcome, clean comfortable rooms with full facilities and as good a breakfast as you could get anywhere. Highly reccomended.

Great service and a great breakfastThe room was clean and well set out although it was a little on the small side. The only negative was that any coughs, sneezes or snores from the next room could be heard quite clearly. Luckily the people in said room were relatively quiet but I'm not sure how we would have felt if this had not been the case. The breakfasts were excellent.

Would definately recommendWe stayed here for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was absolutely brilliant!! the best we have had in any hotel. It's not to far to walk to the town centre or the beach. We would certainly stay here again if we were to visit Scarborough again.

I found this to be a very nice place with customer service you dont get all to often. Quality of furnishings and bathroom etc were excellent, possibly recently refurbished. I was informed breakfast began at 830am. When i informed the Owner it was not a problem but i would be leaving earlier than that, he offered to bring mine at 730! THAT is customer service.

a perfectly servicable small guesthouse, very cheap, obviously family run as the chap who checked me in cooked me breakfast the next day, again breakfast was perfectly serviceable but nothing out of the ordinary. The room was larger than average for a double and was spotlessly clean, as i was on business it fitted my needs perfectly but it's a bit \"no frills\" if one is staying more than a day or two.As for food may i recommend Cafe Fish, william the owner is nuts but his food is simply the best in Scarbourough, i simply let him bring me what he wanted and it was all perfect (the chowder and the scallops being the stand out bits)

Bargain of the century!! The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room was very well furnished, warm and had a very comfortable bed.The owners were extremely helpful and the breakfast was as good as I have ever had and there was a great choice on offer. If you are staying in Scarborough look no further.
