I AM GIVING A 5 ON ALL 6 QUESTIONS ONLY BECAUSE THE INTENT OF THE STAFF IS SO OBVIOUS THEY ARE TRYING SO HARD TO GIVE THEIR GUEST THE BEST THEY CAN. MY WIFE POSTED OUR HORROR STORY THAT WE GOT OUR TRUCK WINDOW SMASHED OUT AND ROBBED IN THEIR PARKING LOT !!!! BUT WHEN THE WORKER THERE CAME OUT WITH A BROOM AND TAPE AND CLEANED IT UP , DID ALL HE COULD TO ASSIST AND HELP I KNEW WHAT I HAD OBSERVED ALL WEEKEND WITH THIS STAFF WAS TRUE, THEY ARE A GREAT TEAM/FAMILY AND I WISH THEM THE BEST. I PRAY THAT SOMEHOW THEY COULD REFUSE A ROOM TO CERTAIN GUEST THAT RUIN THEIR REPUTATION. THE THUGS, LOUD MUSIC, YOUNG DRUNKS, PROFANITY, A BOOM BOX ON THE 3RD FLOOR ROOMS BLAIRING MEXICAN MUSIC WHILE THE GUEST DANCED , SWORE AND DRANK ( ADVISE TO YOU ROOM 322 BRING ENOUGH MONEY WITH YOU SO YOU CAN ACTUALLY LEAVE YOUR ROOM AND PARTY YOUR ROOM IS NOT " THE CLUB " ) MY OPINION TO ALL IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED WELL ,,,, GO FOR IT ! YOU ARE IN ATLANTIC CITY , IT IS A GAMBLE YOU JUST HOPE AND PRAY THAT YOU HAVE REAL PEOPLE , NICE PEOPLE, TRUE GUEST THAT ARE ALSO THERE WHILE YOU ARE ! IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE DEPLORABLE OTHER GUESTS THERE ARE COMMENTS WOULD HAVE BEEN AWESOME, JUST AS WELL AS TROPICANA ( BEEN THERE BEFORE ) GOD BLESS THE STAFF AT THE ASCOT, PRAY FOR ATLANTIC CITY AND WHAT IT HAS BECOME.

ok , this hotel was not what we were used to but we gave it a shot. The 2 nights we stayed ( with our 10yr old daughter ) we were up all night with NO SLEEP DUE TO THUG LIKE GUEST PARTYING AND SCREAMING PROFANITY ALL NIGHT PAST 3AM !!!!!!!!!!! WE contacted the workers and they did their best to apease us and make it stop but having real and nice customers like we were is not the norm guests there so I think the bad guys rule there ! then our last day at 5am we had someone beating on our door over and over and it was the front desk employee to tell us that our truck window was smashed out and we were robbed along with the car next to us (also guest at their hotel) and YES WE WERE IN THEIR PARKING LOT. we were directly under the surveilence camera and there was nothing the ATLANTIC CITY police could even do with a video due to the crime in Atlantic City is so bad our robbery was considered a joke. In Lewes Delaware where we live that is a big crime so what a shock ! BUT I MUST SAY THE WORKERS AT THIS HOTEL WERE SO SWEET, KIND AND TREATED US BETTER THAN THE STAFF AT TREASURE ISLAND IN LAS VEGAS AND THAT IS A FACT. THIS STAFF WORKS SO HARD I OBSERVED THE ONE WORKER THERE FRIDAY NIGHT WHEN WE CHECKED IN AND WAS STILL ON HIS SHIFT SUNDAY MORNING. THE HOUSEKEEPERS ARE THE SWEETEST YOUNG LADIES AND MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIS STAFF FOR ALL THEIR HARD WORK AND IT IS SOOOO OBVIOUS THEY TRIED TO UPDATE THEIR HOTEL WITH PAINT AND NEWER DECORATIONS TO COMPETE WITH THE SURROUNDING HOTELS. I JUST FEEL THEY ARE AT A LOST WITH THE RIFT RAFT THAT BECOME CUSTOMERS (THEY CAN NOT TURN AWAY) TAKE OVER THE HOTEL AND RUIN TRUE FAMILIES TRYING TO VACATION.

I've been to a couple of hotel and some motels but for this particular one....it wasn't as bad, location wise b/c it was next to the board walk. However, it wasn't so clean. I mean its good if you're just there to just be there and sleep and that's it. I wouldn't recommend staying there more than a day. Maybe i'm a clean freak but when it comes to the carpet they could've at least replace with a clean one and the same goes for the pillow. It was so old. I could've spared them like 5 bucks to get a new pillow. Anyhow it was noisy ... didn't feel too private but that's my experience. I wouldn't go back there. My bf said he would b/c he doesn't care as long as there's a bed.

It was close to the Boardwalk. Bedbugs, smelled bad andcost. The room was dirty, with bugs. There was little parking.

Our family usually stays in the trop, but this year tried something different. for the price, the ascot was a much better stay. It's a motel setting, so it was nice to go outside your room and be oustide. The pool was nice, staff was more than nice, Room wasn't perfect, but clean and closer to the boardwalk than many rooms in the trop.

This motel was very dingy and old, although it was bearable for one night, I would not recommend it to any one. It seemed very unsafe, when we returned to our room at night there was no one at the front desk, when we checked out in the morning there was a construction guy at the front desk (the pool is under construction and it was noisy during the day). Next time, i'll pay more and stay at one of the main hotels or one of the chain motels/inns.

This motel advertises that have "Deluce continental breakfast". They did not have breakfast area at all. Some food (very poor selection) was served at front reception.

Awful! The only part good about this motel is that it is in a great location. But, believe me, it is not worth it. The bathrooms were disgusting. The room was worse. We went to Atlantic City for a bachelor party and figured that since it was just the guys we could handle a place that was a little worse than somewhere where you would bring your family. Big mistake...it was so bad I didn't want to even stay there. Our room actually had a fairly large gap between the window and the wall (the window frame seperated from the wall it was mounted in) and it rained the evening we were there. So much rain POURED through that window that I was concerned for our safety...would we drift away in the middle of the night??? I was worried. It was unseasonably cold the night we stayed there and needed to turn the heat on (also the draft through the gap next to the window didn't help). We realized that the heater didn't work so we called the front desk...they told us that the heaters were disabled until winter. Brutal! I will never stay there again...under no circumstances!!!!!!!! And I hope you don't either. Location isn't everything. We were so cheap......big mistake. Don't make the same mistake we made.

I really wish I had spent the additional money to get a room at another hotel, rather than try to save money by staying at this hotel. Other than the friendliness of the staff, the hotel was one of the worst I had ever stayed at during my travels. Since I was only going to be there for a couple of days, I thought it would be okay, but boy was I WRONG. The room was not clean, and the bathrooms looked as though they were public facilities. I would recommend the travel agency to remove this motel off of your site, because it truly tarnishes the travel agency's image. I have always liked and been very satisfied with all of your travel information, but this was the worst. In fact, it makes me have reservations about ever using this site again. DEEPLY DISSAPPOINTED CUSTOMER!

My boyfriend and I are in our mid 20s and just stayed for 1 night on a Friday. The place isn't luxurious or anything, but it was sufficient and clean. It's 1 block from the boardwalk, right next to the Tropicana. You get a mini fridge and free breakfast in the morning. My only complaint would be that the housekeeping staff woke us up at 8am by talking loudly to each other right outside our door. Other than that it was a fine stay.

The hotel had a great location. We walked anywhere we wanted to go. The front clerks were helpful and courteous. The continental breakfast was good, coffee hot, pastries individually packaged. There is a parking lot with free parking. The parking lot is small, and the cars are parked one behind the other, and you have to leave your keys with the clerk if you park blocking someone, but we had no trouble finding a place and not leaving our keys with the clerk. Knowing where our car was, and being able to see it, made us more comfortable. The hotel is older, but everything works. The room was very clean. It had a small refrigerator and a microwave. It was everything we wanted, and cleanliness is one of the things we look for the most. We would stay here again.

when we arrived check-in was done quicky and efficienty, the location was great!!But thats where the good news ended. The room appeared dirty.the paint on the doors was so thick there were hard to close. The toilet seat was cracked and very yellow, the towels were threadbare and the bath mat was made out of paper and a portion of it stuck to my husbands foot, leaving no bath mat for me.the railings leading up to the rooms were so rusty, I thouht I would need a tetinius shot! The pool was great, but this palce needs a major overhaul. As for the complmentary breakfast, we passed.

The hotel was ok.... a little more than i was thinking. I did not want to spend a lot of money on the room so i was ready for the worst. But finally it was more than ok... the room was clean. The front desk was great, we arrived in the morning and the check in was at 3 pm... they let me park my car and in about an hour they gave us a room. They were very nice since we have 3 days of rain (the only thing that went wrong in our trip), and gave us good advice on what to do and the directions were easy to follow and well explain. The hotel location is great, i would say a half block from boardwalk and beach. The pool looks ok but it was closed cause it rain the whole time we where there..... To finish i can assure you that i'll get back to Atlantic City and i will be back at the Ascot Motel for sure.Sorry for my english i did my best and i hope you understand what i mean since i am french speaking....

This our first time staying in Ascot hotel and our 4th time staying in AC. It was very satisfying to me and my girlfriend. We would definitely stay there again. Half a block away from the boardwalk and 20 feet from the Tropicana (our fave casino). The hotel wasnt dirty it just isnt brand new so it doesnt look all fancy inside and out. If your on a budget, defitely stay here. You can't beat the price!

Rude staff and very old, dirty rooms. The only perk is that it is close to the boardwalk and casinos.

From the time we checked in it seemed, until 3 a.m. people were screaming at the top of their lungs in the pool area. The hot water was not initially turned on so that we had a difficult time getting a shower and making it to our reservations. The room looked as though every kind of repair had been done in a makeshift manner. Maybe next time I'd do better to sleep in my car!
