We traveled with family / friends and had a wonderful time! The island was beautiful and the hotel was picture perfect!

Excellent room furnishings and air condition. Nothing to complain about. The rooms are immaculate, the cleaning staff is friendly and wonderful. The hotel is a wonderful retreat away from the rest of the island.

The hotel beach is great, but a little far from the other restaurants and hotels.

Beautifully remodeled. Spacious rooms, spacious balconies, walk-in closets, great shower, beautiful pool with 4" mattress pads on lounge chairs.

Once they got rid of inexperienced staff early in week, everything was fine except for the fish restaurant - poor service and attitude of manager was very poor.

Beach location and proximity to shopping and restaurants was fantastic. Construction on elevators was a bit dirty. The Marriott Aruba hotel definitely met our expectations as a nice resort in the Caribbean. The rooms are more than adequate while the hotel grounds are very beautiful and well taken care of. There are plenty of on site restaurants along with a decent sized casino. I would definitely recommend staying at this resort.

Rooms are nice entire hotel renovated with the exception of the pool area. Frustrating as hotel permits guests from the two next door time shares to use pool and facilities. Prevents actual hotel guests from available pool chairs, gym equipment, etc. My invoice was incorrect at checkout and 2 months later still trying to resolve.

I would not suggest anyone to stay at this hotel. The hotel had a stinch from the time we arrived until the time we left. One of the elevators were out. I was bit several times from bed bugs and we were there a total of 6 days; I do not believe that the sheets were changed at all. If you stay at this hotel never call for a wake up call because you will not receive it. Also, don't call the front desk and expect someone to answer the phone, that will not happen. The staff needs to learn professional etiquette. I turned in a little girls Ipod and the staff looked like vultures. I would not be surprised if the little girl ever sees tje Ipod again. The overall moral of the staff was extremely low.

Rooms were upscale in decor, bathrooms very modern. Free wireless internet should be included if you are a guest and the lobby area should have free wireless service. A nice perk to being a guest. Location and rooms were excellent. Lobby was great to get a snack, get a drink and listen to some music. Grounds were beautiful. Pool bar food was good. Overall a +.

Beautiful oceanfront resort, newly renovated. (Some work still in progress July '08 but confined to areas that did not interfere with guests' stay.) Bright, clean modern rooms, flat panel TV, great bathroom with dual sit-on-top sinks and Kohler fixtures. LARGE balcony. Great pool with tons of padded lounge chairs, swim-up bar. Nice beach with plenty of chairs, water sports available right in front of the resort. (Parasail, banana boat, Jet ski.) Several shops and boutiques in the resort. There is absolutely nothing within walking distance, however, so plan to do all your shopping and dining at the resort, or you'll have to take a taxi. Ideal for short stays, but for longer stays, you might want to be closer to the action. All rooms are non-smoking, but the casino allows it, and the smoke is very dense there. Restaurant menus offered a good variety and prices weren't any worse than I expected, but service was horrendous my first night there. My dinner order got lost and then took forever to come out. My drink did not get refilled and I never got my check. I finally left cash on the table and walked out. The little cafe near the lobby got my breakfast order wrong. Things ordered without cheese were covered in cheese... things like that. The food quality was good, but the service was not. Some of the desk staff was clueless, like it was their first day on the job or something. Friendly, just not particularly competent. However, for the comfort, cleanliness, swim-up bar and swaying palm trees, I would definitely go back!

It was our first time going to Aruba and a friend recommended the Marriott. The experience was great. We got to do all the fun activities we love, jet sking, snorkeling and the tubing in the ocean was amazing.

Beautiful location, wonderful remodeled rooms. Hard to complain about a nice hotel in paradise. The Marriott Stellaris is an upscale, modern hotel located right on Aruba's beautiful Palm Beach. All guest rooms have been remodeled and are spacious and comfortable.

Overall, it Aruba was a great island with the kids. The Marriott has a great property with a nice beach. A little crowded in Spring Break and difficult to get a Palapa unless you like to wake up at 6 AM. My main disappointment was my initial room. I paid $526 per night (before taxes) for a deluxe oceanfront room. As an Elite Marriott traveler, I requested a room in the renovated tower. Well, I got an old room that was falling apart. The plumbing and other things were falling apart. I almost got hit in the head with a broken shower head. I of course complained and put up a fuss and did get a much much nicer room; however, the view was far inferior. The manager would NOT reduce my rate. All this point a big asterisk on an otherwise wonderful vacation.

"Loved ARuba, loved the location, checked in and they put us in the old rooms, even though i asked for a new one, 500.00 for THAT, complained and they moved us, MUCH MUch nicer, front desk did not want to accomodate, but i paid too much to be in that old tower. Great other than that. One guy X, in casino was a nasty sort, but other than that everyone was lovely, definetly going back to Aruba, it is wonderful"

Hotel is very beautiful. You could hear noise from the lobby into the room. The hotel is wonderful. The only thing I would change is to make the rooms that are above the lobby have solid doors on them as it got noisy in the room from all the action down below.
