It was off the strip, but not too far. It seemed cozy. The valets were great. The front desk people could be a little friendlier. Would definitely recommend this hotel to a couple that are looking for a romantic get away, but also want to be a close drive to the strip. Not recommended for children, it has an adults’ only feel and that makes for a very relaxing atmosphere for you and your partner.

Arts and fartsy, off-the-wall, funky, romantic. Resident rooms walls painted too dark. No reading lamp, poor radio quality. Satisfies my need for attractive, calming atmosphere.

I loved the originality, artwork & atmosphere. The music around the pool. Too much "the same". Varied arrangements of Jazz, R&B better suited to atmosphere. I have highly recommended the Artisan to individuals who I know would enjoy the original experience it has to offer. Love the artwork, deco & atmosphere. The one thing I feel would make a fine "finishing touch" would be to have a jazz pianist in the lounge. Seeing that beautiful Grand in the lobby sitting there unused is sad. I often come to the Artisan with my partner who lives in Vegas, even when we do not stay over. Last, I do not feel it is a "place" for families or children to stay and feel it should be kept as exclusive hide-away for adults.

The staff were helpful. It was too gaudy. This was a strange hotel. The lobby was filled with copies of art work that were a bit salacious and it clearly is not meant for family travelers. I was perplexed that they offered the Wall Street Journal, but I do not think that it was a strong hotel for business purposes. The only parking is valet and that adds to the expense of the hotel. I would not stay there again.

The different atmosphere of the Artisan. The black walls in the room.

The art, decor. The room service and overall staff. This is a gorgeous hotel, love the art, nice and quiet, except the valet guys. Overall it was worth the money but not a place for kids.

It was close to my sales presentation. Ihad trouble with myTV set.

Ambience of the lobby was seductive. Bed was sort of concave. I would recommend this hotel.

The manager's voicemail is very nice, too bad he never answers! No ice, $11 parking fee, depleted building, money laundering! This place is the ONLY hotel in Vegas that charges $11 to park your vehicle as a hotel guest + tip, no ice machines, and if you go there watch out for the blind employees because whether you smoke or not they will charge your credit card up to four days after you leave for smoke damage! Thank god my bank has a fraud department!

It had a unique flavor: romantic and a little naughty. The hotel had difficulty getting a cab to respond in a timely manner. We were a little late for a show. That was not good.

Very unique hotel, each room was themed to a specific artist. Lack of parking - had to pay $11.50 to park overnight. Interesting hotel within an easy drive of the strip. Has an upscale restaurant and an outdoor pool, neither of which we used so cannot comment on. The room was lavishly appointed with extra pillows and throw blankets, as well as an LCD TV mounted to the wall. It's an older hotel that has been updated, and each room is themed to a specific artist. The downside is that there is no public parking, therefore you need to pay $11.50 to park overnight, and a valet takes care of parking your vehicle. There is a nearby parking lot but be warned that vehicles may be towed.

The art work within the entire hotel was amazing. The only thing was the door to the ice room would not open with the key card. The hotel was quite and peaceful; you didn't have all the noise and fast pace of a hotel down town.

Great staff but had to tip often. Too many extra charges/parking, ice. Enjoyed staying there but you had to have a car and it's location was not convenient to anything. It was very dark. The rooms were noisy. Parking was a pain. The staff was great.

Great price, artwork. The room was all black and dark colors - depressing. Very nice employees, no casino, but close to the strip.

Nice employees. Had to pay for parking. This hotel was kind of creepy with the decor, but clean.

Stylish. Semi-provocative artwork. Easy to find, very close to the strip, and affordable. Nice and small too with no gaming machines. Be aware that there's *no* parking other than valet, which is around $11 a day.

Large flat screen HDTV. Room service never showed up. Decent.

Interesting atmosphere and a very cozy room. like home. Free WiFi internet, worked great for me! You had to use valet parking and there is a fee to park at night. We loved the atmosphere and the room was cozy. They have lots of extra pillows and a blanket just to rap up with while you read or watch a movie. I didn't like the parking situation because you have to use valet and there is a fee for overnight parking. Also, they only serve food between 6:30 am - 1:30 pm and not again till 4:30 pm - 11:00 pm. This was kind of aggravating to me since I had to go to work at 6:30 am. This hotel must be old (but renovated very nicely) because it was hard to find any extra outlets in the room.

Cold shower - 1st night. Parking charge I was unaware of. Local calls 0.75 each. Other than those things and being inconvenient - good place.

Great place to visit with a significant other or spouse.
