I was very pleased with my stay at The Arizona Golf Resort in Mesa. It is located close to a large mall and several other shopping options (i.e. Costco, grocery stores, restaurants). It is also just off the freeway a few blocks, so quite easy to get to from the airport. Our room was on the inside closer to the greenway, so it was fairly quiet. If you stayed on the street side, it would be a lot noisier as it is located close to a busy street on the one side. The amenities were nice-we had a comfortable living room area with t.v., sofa and chair. It also had a small kitchen with microwave, half fridge and minimal utensils. There are BBQ's you can use just outside the front door in the common area and patio tables to eat outside if you like. The bedroom had 2 very comfortable double beds with 2 suitcase stands and t.v. in the bedroom. The bathroom is just across the way-very clean and newer tub/shower area. My only complaint with the bathtub/shower, is that it only has a half glass divider instead of a shower curtain and so quite a bit of water gets sprayed out onto the floor if you're more that 5 feet tall. There's a free parking stall to park your car. The pool was nice to cool off in and has several lounge chairs to relax in. I also tried out the gym--it is in a small seperate garage-like building in the middle of a parking lot. It's fairly small but has all the usual cardio machines and some weights as well as a t.v....convenient for a quick workout. We never tried the restaurant at all, so no comments there. All in all, the staff were pleasant and we enjoyed our stay with no major complaints. I would return again to this hotel.

Quiet and private with convenient access. No ice machine. A quiet, lovely location with a nice golf course within close walking distance. We will return.

I booked a weekend at the resort as a short get away for my children, ages 7 and 9, and myself. I knew it was a golf resort, but I assumed there would at least be a television with Disney or Nickelodian for my kids to watch when we weren't out sightseeing. The television was small and the cable package was the bare minimum. We ended up making a trip to ToysRUs to find something for them to do in the room. The room was a "casita," the resort's code name for a one-bedroom block townhome dating back to the 60's, probably rented at the time to snowbirds coming to Arizona for a month or two. There was a kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, and lukewarm mini-fridge, and lots of cabinets--but no dishes or silverware. The bathtub drained leaked, so we could only take showers. The casitas are located on the extreme southwest corner of the property, beyond easy walking distance to the lobby and restaurants, and just off busy (and noisy) Power Road. Frankly, I was prepared to check out after the first night and drive home, but since the stay was prepaid online we stayed the second night.

The rooms were spacious the rooms are like private bungalows. The smell of the rooms and the swamp cooler. The Arizona Golf Resort was probably a great place to stay in the 70's. It is very dated in it's decor and rooms. The rooms were very wet do to the swamp cooler instead of a proper, updated air conditioner. It was very hard to get cool, when it is 110 outside, the swamp cooler produces a lot of humidity, which made it an unpleasant stay. The rooms had a very strong, odor. I had to buy air freshener.

The Suite was perfect, the housekeeping staff was accomadating and provided us additional towels & glassware. The proshop scheduled tee times prior to check in. The golf course was exceptional while the golf course staff were enjoyable and I was surprised as they cleaned my clubs at the end of my rounds of golf. I definitly will stay at arizona golf resort again next time we're in the Pheonix area. Extremely satisfied.

It was very quiet! The pool was a little dirty but, just leaves. The hotel was great. Our room was nice and big with a kitchenette. It wasso quiet! We were never bothered by other guests. The pool was great with lots of space. We really enjoyed our stay here - it was very relaxing!

We stayed in the King Suite. It was clean, quiet and more than we expected. It was very comfortable and for someone who sleeps on a waterbed, I slept quite well. It had all of the conveniences a business traveller or family could use. We didn't have the opportunity to use the pool, but it was nice. The only drawback was when the grounds crew insisted on weed-whacking and leaf blowing while I was sitting outside on the patio. The smell of gasoline was staggering. Other than that - thumbs up.

The price, the grounds, and the rooms. The hot tubs were all broken. The price and the rooms were great - it was very beautiful. The heaters on the hot tubs were broken, so they were all cold. Very disappointing.

The resort is very charming. I understand there is a new ownership and it shows. There is energy and the resort has a relaxed and peaceful feel. I will use them as it is very close to business for me and it is close to a lot of activites for my kids and wife. The golf course is a great challenge as the par 3's are really fun and the rest of the course is fun for all skill levels. We will definitely return

"Hotel is advertised as having all new renovations including pillow-top mattresses, new carpet and counter tops. Our premium suite had new counter tops, carpet that smelled of mold, very stale smelling rooms. The disposal smelled, so we ran to the store and purchased disposal cleaner and febreeze to freshen the room. It will be the last place we would plan to stay if we return to Mesa. The rooms are VERY close to the highway and you will be awakened by rush hour traffic each morning. "

Separation of rooms, refrigerator, separation of bathing and sink. Fountain in front is inviting, stayed overlooking the 10th fairway, room was very fresh.

Wonderful, private, romantic, clean, easy access, friendly staff andgreat room! The doors for the TV didn't push all the way in, but there really wasn't anything to complain about! From the front desk, we had to take a service road to get to where our room actually was, so I was worried it would be inconvenient in the morning, but there was access to the main road from the service road! And the rooms are clustered around a center courtyard on one side and a grand courtyard on the other! Doors on wither side led to a patio area, the living are was nice! A couch, love seat, recliner and a TV, the kitchen was beautiful! Granite counters with a bar and a dining room table those seats 4! There was separate are for the bedroom/bathroom separated by a good sized vanity area with a big closet, and the bathrooms were updated and nice! The bedroom was great! The beds were cozy, the room was pitch black and quiet, and we had a great stay! It's nice not having someone above or below you! And having a view of the golf course and a nice place to sit out in the morning was great! I will definitely be suggesting this hotel for any of my friends! We had a wonderful stay!

The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. The beds were less comfortable than some. The double beds were old and sagged toward the middle. The staff was very friendly and the setting was very pretty. The fitness room is tiny but functional.

It was a great room for kids and we were able to grill out too. Not much, restaurant food was not great but plenty of other places to eat around should have free WiFi that was frustrating. Hotel was very nice, loved the refrigerator, micro and BBQ grills, great for pets and kids.

The golf course right beside the room, cleanliness. Had to wait to get into the room. This was a beautiful location by the golf course; rooms were spotless and looked as if they had been redone recently, staff was helpful, and even though the room was close to a busy road on one side, it was quiet at night.

Rooms were spacious, services available were good, and service was great! Internet service in room slow. Restaurant staff unfriendly near closing time. Went somewhere else. Excellent blues group on Friday nite in the bar, which also serves dinner, which was quite good. Good service in the bar area versus the experience we had had in the restaurant near closing time. Golf course looked well attended to.

Liked the room with mini fridge and proximity of pool. Jets on Jaccuzi did not work. Nice hotel off the beaten path. Everything you need is very close.

Clean. Friendly staff. Nice grounds/fountains. A little outdated, could use a little pick-me-up. Still nice. For a resort property, Clean and in good repair mostly. The refrigerator door fell off and there wasn't a maintenance person there at around 9 PM (odd for such a large property), but we were immediately given another room 2 doors down and offered assistance moving. Overall for the money it was just fine, and a safe, comfortable feeling property. Great if you're a golfer! (I'm not, however!)

Great scenery and 24 hour hot tubs. I have only positive things to say about this hotel. The staff went above and beyond for us. I don't golf and I would stay here again.
