Great location, clean rooms and friendly staff. Great place to stay although a little noisy.

If you are looking for lots of attention from the staff, this is not the place for you. More like a motel than a hotel, but for the price, what a great deal. The suite was very large and clean but because of it's size seemed sparsely furnished. Two TVs, but both of them small. Standard motel bath arrangement with a generous shower head. The adjacent casino with dining areas above was a bit smokey but not terrible. The food in the restaurant and buffet was very good and reasonably priced. We didn't use the pool but could see and hear it from our room. It's not overly large but all the kids playing there seemed to be having a great time. Twenty minutes to a half hour to drive to either the airport or the strip did not seem bad at all. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

This place is a hidden gem in Vegas. Clean, friendly, and great prices!

This was not a 3 star hotel. It was more like a one star motel. It didn't even have a coffee maker in the room, no iron, no hairdryer. A small TV. The room seemed clean enough but very spartan. The one thing I did like was the sheets were 70% cotton. But when I called about an iron, they said they would bring one in 5 minutes and never showed up. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Very nice place. A bit noisy - and it's "motel" style so you can hear people going up and down the stirs. But other than that - was a great place! Don't stay here if you want to go to the strip or downtown - very far. There was plenty of visible security riding around on bikes.

The rooms are laid out in motel style setting where you could hear the people coming out from the Casino and walking to their rooms talking loudly late at night. In the morning, people would drag their rolling suitcases and bags down the stairs so you would be woken up by that noise. Parking for the hotel rooms late at night was a bit hard to find. But you could park in the Casino Parking lot and walk to your room, which was not that far anyway. If you don't want to pay for parking on the Strip and the hussle and bussle of the Strip this was a good location. Only about a 10 minute drive to the Strip.

It was a good stay for being off the strip...

We stayed here three times during the two weeks we passed through Nevada. Good news: Rooms were clean and adequate. No frills. Buffet was delicious. Front desk was helpful. Security guards made us feel safe, considering it was not in a good neighborhood. Bad news: What is up with NO coffeemakers in rooms or coffee in lobby? We had to buy our own coffee if we wanted it. When we asked, we were told that coffeemakers in rooms were "unsanitary and hard to maintain". HUH? Being avid coffee drinkers, we were resentful of the long walk through the smoky casinos to purchase a cup of coffee when we wanted it!Anyway, for the money, it was adequate, especially if you aren't into staying on the strip and just want a quiet night's rest before moving on, as we did.

The staff and security were very helpful I had a small problem with payment and they figured everything out and got me back on track.

Our first stay at Arizona Charlies and we truly enjoyed it. We like being on Boulder Hwy. instead of fighting the Strip traffic. Our room was very comfortable and we ate most of our meals in the cafe (which is very good no matter the time of day). Living in Texas, we only make it to Vegas once a year now but we will definitely stay there again.

Overall I was very pleased. After reading other reviews I was prepared for an uncomfortable bed and stinky room. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I even brought my mattress topper, slept great! Others in my group said their beds were very comfortable as is. I also brought an odor neutralizing fabric spray, which made the room smell very nice, but was not neccesary. The staff was very nice and helpful. The buffet was much smaller than the large casinos but was a very nice value. The 24 hr Steak Special at the Sourdough Cafe for 3.29 was excellent. The Casino does have a smoky odor but is tolerable. I don't know how long it will last but when you sign up for their rewards card they will reimburse you up to 100.00 in slot play loses on the first day that you can play out on certain slot machines. It is a fair distance from the strip, but if you have a vehicle it is no problem. A taxi ride might cost you 40-50 round trip. Overall I would stay there again.
