Central, Convenient & FriendlyMy wife had to use a wheelchair on this visit, we found the Management & staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was conveniently located & using the wheelchair in Nice was a very good solution for us. A previous critical review was unhelpful in that the "distressed" style of furniture was mistakenly described as dirty.

Excellent location 5 mins walk away from train station, 10 mins walk to center of Nice. Good basic accommodation, our room was 3rd floor overlooking Mozart Park, nice and quiet. Clean sheets on the bed and clean towels daily. Marked down the grade for accom due to dirty carpet in room - wouldn't walk on it barefoot. Good value for money. Lovely helpful receptionists.

Hotel Aria in Nice.I booked a short break for my daughter and I. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Superior room was large and airy. Beds firm but comfy. Bathroom clean and adequate. Shower curtain would have been nice. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly. There English was very good. I speak no French only Italian. They didn’t take the hump that I did not speak French. The Brits should not be offended by that as they don’t bother trying to learn any other language on the whole. The location was good. Good 10 mins from the beach. Nice shops and restaurants nearby. Try l'Occitane good wholesome French food and plenty off it and lovely English speaking friendly staff. 5 mins up the road from the train station to everywhere. We found the French in the shops and restaurants everywhere very warm and friendly with a good sense of humour. Us Brits can learn a lot from the southern French. I cant wait to go back hopefully this year again for another short break and I will definitely stay at the hotel Aria. We didn’t take breakfast as it cost 13 euros. That’s expensive for folk like me who only like a coffee or 2. There are plenty of little shops/cafes to get a cappuccino or juice etc or bakeries. I loved the area and so easy to go to Cannes, eze, monaco, grasse etc. Give it a go and try the hotel. From the airport take the no 99 bus to the train station and walk down to the hotel across the road. Easy watch for the dodgy folk though around the train station you fine them everywhere.

Upon arrival the hotel stated they did not have a reservation for us and had not be notified from Laterooms. The young girl on reception as their was two couples had to create two rooms for us which took some time ..Saying that the I got with my wife was upgraded to a suite and very nice it was to..Our friends had to make do with a small room not the supperior room we had booked. After this mix up the two young girls on reception were very polite and the information given was spot on.One night when returning back late the night duty manger was very rude upon greeting us.Would I stay there again ..yes as the overall experience was very good

The hotel is set in a good area in Nice and is a walk of only 5-10 minutes from the train station. The location of the hotel is ideal for tourism in the Nice area.

Hotel was very nice and very close to the beach. Stay would have been perfect apart from the "attitude" of the young girl who worked in reception during the day. She couldn't be bothered to deal with requests and was more interested in texting and using her mobile phone and gave a bit of bad attitude when queried on anything.

The Hotel was quite basic for a 3 star rating. It was very convenient to beach, trains, shops. The room was very small for 3 people and the air conditioning was not working one night which was rectified the next day. The staff were polite but not overly friendly. We had breakfast the last morning which was adequate, coffee machine broke for my second cup of coffee. The was repairs going on during our stay which left a lot of dust and drilling one day. In general there should have been more facilities like tea/coffee available in the room . The hotel was okay but not sensational for the price.

I need a place to sleep in Nice and that one was OK.It is not near the sea, you have a Jardin and a parking place in the front of the hotel. The young lady from reception was very chic, smiled to me and show me some things ;-)I didn't eat in restaurant, but inside it was nice. The room are bigger enough, the hotel has an old elevator, I find this very nice.I would stay there again, but like I said, just to sleep.La revedere!Ladu :-)

Breakfast was excellent. The room was lovely and the jacuzzi bath was good fun. The sitting room wasn't really a comfy place to sit and relax, but the suite of rooms was clean and a reasonable size. There wasn't much storage space for hanging things. The staff were quite friendly and pleasant. Would definitely stay there again.

The location was awesome...just a few minutes walk to the beach and the promenaude and to the train station. The breakfasts were great - good food and lots of it. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating even when we wanted tea late in the evening! I would stay here again. Very clean rooms and comfortable.
