Ideal for a short stayVery friendly staff. Lovely accommodation, nice and clean. Breakfast is absolutely superb. Arden House is situated in a great location for the Bus Station and Railway. Also ideal for the shops, bars and restaurants. Just ideal.

4 night stay - 4 poepleThe apartment was lovely and in a great location! It was good being able to walk everywhere. The train station is very close for a day out to York. The only negative points were that we had no hot water for the 4 days for washing dishes etc. Luckily the shower was electric so we had hot water for that. Also we had no access out of the back door as the key had been lost previously. This could be a safety hazard. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

This property suited out purpose very well, we could reach the Harrogate Showground very easily by car and it was in a good position to walk into the town centre for shopping and restaurants.

Arden House 2009The tiny budget room was too warm despite the heating being off - couldn't work ot the heat source. Bathroom complementaries had been part used by previous guests - found this particularly off puttting and so binned the lot to save next guest from same fate - hope this gets noticed by housekeeping and improved on for next time.Staff nice and friendly.a remote for the TV would be nice.

Girlie tripJust arrived home having spent fantastic week end .The apartment was superb, central and ideal for break away. All facilities were modern and decorated to high standard, everthing we needed included ie hairdryer, dishwasher and music system! Great for girls get away! Reasonably priced plus lots of restaurants close by. Parking permits also included.

The staff and owner of Arden house could not have been more kind or helpful...I would recommend this hotel over staying at a 'chain' hotel because the service was so much more personal....

I chose the Arden House Apartments as on this occasion i was traveling with a colleague, attending the Conference Centre. The appartment was imaculately furnished to a very high standard, very clean and warm. The apartments are ideally situated for the town centre, only a 5 miniute walk. The apartments have everything you would need for a longer stay, right down to Coffee, Tea & Sugar in the cupboard, just remember to bring a pint of milk with you if arriving late. However, in saying that, there is a 24hr Asda just around the corner. Question ? Would i stay here again, Most Definitely !

enjoyable stayWe enjoyed our stay at the Arden. It's situated on a tree lined quiet road and the staff were all very friendly and the room was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was if tiny very clean and had a very good shower. The breakfasts were excellent as was the free beverage tray in the room. The on road parking was excellent with a free permit to allow 24 hr parking, a big plus as some on street parking in other towns can cost betwween £8.00 and £10.00 per day. It's situated minutes from the town centre. We would definately stay there again. Well done every body at the Arden!Mr & Mrs Spain

I've stayed in many hotels and apartments for business and leisure over the last few years, and Arden House is one of the few where I've actually felt like I was at home! After a very warm welcome at check-in at the nearby Arden House Hotel, I was escorted to the apartment just a few doors down and shown around. The apartment was immaculate and very tastefully decorated with all the facilities you could need when staying away from home, inlcuding a plentiful supply of coffee, tea and sugar!Parking is included on the road (permit was issued), and it was a quiet area.I will definitely use Arden House again when I stay in Harrogate, and would probably also consider an alternative to Leeds or York.Highly recommended!

Lovely quiet hotel minutes from town centreThe hotel is located only a few minutes walk from the town centre yet is really quiet internally and externally. Our room was at the front yet there was no traffic noise at night and no revelers passing by. It is in a tree lined residential type street with good on street parking if the hotels spaces are taken. (Get a free permit from the hotel) The quality of the furnishings, linen etc is very high and it is very clean and well presented. My only slight concern was the en-suite. It is compact but a good version of what you find in traditional Villa type refurbishments. It was also very clean and well appointed. The breakfast was served in a very smart diningroom by friendly staff and was excellent. Again the quality of the food, the choice and presentation was all you could ask for. I would happily return and recommend the hotel to others. Good value for money.

Cramped attic roomWe stayed at Arden House for one night only and I must admit we were very disappointed in the room, bearing in mind, we booked last minute and paid £75 so expected something a bit better. It was very small and the wash basin was in the room, which was a bit strange, there was nowhere to put your toiletries as everything (including kettle and tea/coffee) was placed right by the sink. There were only two of us and we kept getting in each other's way. The good points are that the bed was very comfy and the breakfast was really lovely but to be honest there are better places to stay in Harrogate so we will not be going back there.

Just a one night stay. Comfortable and quiet. Nice clean room and a good brekfast with efficient service. The road the hotel is in is a bit hit and miss, some properties spot on and others decidely sub standard. Don't let that put you off as the hotel itself is well maintained with a decent facade and garden. Well located for a stroll into town.

Very friendly, helpful staff. All very clean and excellent breakfasts. Definitely a 'guest house' rather than a hotel but it did the business for us. The only 'downside' was the lack of a bath.

A very friendly very well kept B + B my single room was a little small but the nights stay was good value.A good location there is only a short walk to the resuarants, parking is easy you are given a parking card when you arrive.Breakfast was the real draw, pretty much everything available, breakfast was served by ladies who genuinely wanted tou to enjoy the experience.

VERY GOOD STANDARD OF HOTELWe really enjoyed our night here, in a good location and very central. The only comment we had was the wash hand basin being in the bedroom, which didn't give you much privacy.Excellent breakfast.
