Location could not be better; 1 minute to the beach without necessity to cross any road, 5-10 minutes to the main commercial "strip" with shops, cafes and restaurants. We will stay there again on our next visit to Port Douglas.

Excellent, quiet location only 50m to the beach and a few minutes walk into the main shopping/restaurant part of Port Douglas. The room was a little dated, but spotlessly clean and with a nice little balcony with views over the water. We would definitely go back there.

Very clean comfortable accommodations, ideally located between Four Mile beach and Port Douglas.

Wonderful place to stay! Overlooking the beach, which is steps away, and less than a five minute walk from the center of town, though it's really quiet at all times. For the price, this is a real find! There's only a shower but it's roomy with lots of hot water. The beds aren't 'posturepedic' but comfortable. There's lots of room for 3 adults and the deck and view is lovely. We stayed at another hotel in the area (Silky Oaks Lodge) for 4 times the price and it wasn't as nice as the Archipelago!

The location was great. We had an Ocean view room with a balcony that meant we could eat outside while looking over the sea. It was a very short walk to the cafe strip and down to the marina. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic situation just across the road from the beach and a short stroll to town. Spacious, comfortable clean accommodation if a little basic, but great value.

We have stayed here before and find the location outstanding; the rooms are more than adequate for the price. The only consideration this visit was the cleanliness was not up to the usual standard, particularly the bathroom.

good value for money as far as I am concerned, the appartment provided the facilities we needed and it was spotless! The staff was cheerful and the beach just next door...what else could you want?

A great locatoin and nice that there is a small kitchen to keep to enjoy a couple small meals at home. Good location, just off the main strip (few minute walk) and only one house off the beach. We stayed in the ocean view and it was good, but I think they all would have been similar.
