Breakfast was very poor and the rooms weren't very warm (we travelled in Januray). A room overlooking the river (as requested) would have been better!

Very pleasant stay, excellent surroundings, very near to main sights. The restaurant and bar area (part of the hotel) were great to come back to after a long day's walking - ie sightseeing. Hotel very clean and staff were very helpful and informative.

This was our first visit to Prague and we will definately be returning again. The Archibald was ideally situated close to Charles Bridge. The hotel ordered a taxi from the airport and everything went very smoothly.

My wife and I spent 2 nights in the hotel and were very satisfied with the quality. The big plus for the Archibald At The Charles Bridge Hotel Prague is that it is located in a quiet area next to the Charles bridge so that you can visit both sides of the river and go out at night without the need of any transportation. The hotel is within 15 minutes walk from everything you need in Prague. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and clean. The only drawback is the breakfast that could be largely improved. The choice was ok but the quality of the food was not so good. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone willign to spend 2 to 3 days in the city.

The Archibald At The Charles Bridge Hotel Prague is in a good and quiet location. It really has no facilities as such, no lobby to sit around, no lift and the bar is really more a restaurant. Rooms are nice enough, not great, maybe typical for hotels in Prague. We did have nice view of Charles Bridge which made up for things a little.

Friendly & competent staff. All-night reception. Great ambience tho' being an histric building, en suite facilities basic but acceptable. Easy reach of trams & Metro but plenty of local life within 15 mins walk. Bedrooms on the river-side have charming views across to the Charles Bridge. We selected the Archibald At The Charles Bridge Hotel Prague with a pin & delighted we got lucky!!!

Really great hotel with superb rooms and good buffet breakfast in quiet setting right by river and King Charles Bridge. Hotel has good pub/restaurant next door and many other good places to eat and drink near by. Easy access to metro/bus system from airport whichis efficient and cheap.

The location of the hotel was ideal, being right next to the Charles Bridge and equidistant to the Castle. Jewish Quarter and Old Square the main sights of the city. It was right next to the river and fronted a very pleasant cobbled and tree lined square. Our room was very simply furnished (some of the furniture was quite old) with two large single beds joined together, a table with two chairs and an upholstered settle type settee; most of the other rooms in the hotel followed this pattern apart from the attic rooms. The bathroom had a bath with shower over and was small but adequate. The hotel was spotless, the staff were friendly and attentive to everyone's needs. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice - cheeses, meats, bacon, eggs, pate, yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit and an endless supply of fruit juice, tea and coffee. Having seen the cost of everything in Prague I would say that it was value for money. I would warn anyone planning to visit the city to be aware of how much everything costs - we expected to pay city prices, but with a simple sandwich lunch and a couple of beers costing around £25, a bottle of local wine averaging £18-£20 and being charged £4 for 5 small slices of bread, I fear that the city will do itself a great deal of harm in the long run.

Excellent position just off the Charles Bridge, therefore easy access to all places. It was extremely hot during our stay, but there were fans in all rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly and our room was very big with separate lobby and en suite. As stated elsewhere rooms at the back or in the attic have the best views but ours overlooked a pretty cobbled square which was very quiet.

The hotel organised an airport transfer which was there on arrival and only 650 CZK. The location of the hotel couldnt be more central at the foot of the Charles Bridge with excellent Views. However, be prepared to carry your own luggage on arrival up the 2 flights of stairs. We found Czech customer service to be somewhat terrible but they are hospitable in other ways. Also be prepared to be constantly reminded that service is not included on your bill which becomes mundane and repetitive when eating out. On the whole the hotel and city was great just dont expect too much service from waiters and locals.

The Archibald At The Charles Bridge Hotel Prague is beautifully situated, only 100 metres from Charles Bridge, with a cruise boat stop literally at the back door. The building is intrinsically interesting, being at least 400 years old. Bedroom furniture was very tired, but our room was otherwise spacious, and with a view of the river. Main drawback was the lack of air-conditioning, and the plug-in fan struggled to keep us cool over a very warm three days. This would not be a showstopper for us, and we would stay here again on a return trip.

Superb location located under Charles Bridge in a quiet square. friendly, helpful, immaculately clean, nice airy room on the top floor - room 21, (attic I suppose) no lifts but only three short flight of stairs, the view from the room of the River and Charles Bridge was great, comfy beds, nice cotton linen, we only had a shower and the bathroom is small but who needs to spend hours in a bathroom and having the room larger was a bonus, table and chairs , a sofa, mini bar which was well stocked and not overpriced. Had a look at a few of the rooms and all of them were very comfortable. Food was good and the staff really friendly. definetly recommend it.

Superb location - right in the Centre of the Tourist sights yet tucked away in a beautiful, quiet corner next to river. All sights within easy walking distance. Old original building but fully and carefully restored, very clean and fully equiped - except for no lifts, still a couple of flights of stone stairs no problem. Food in hotel was fine and reasonably priced. Plenty of good eating places in area and over Charles Bridge as well. Great week!

Very helpful staff, in restaurant and reception. Especially helpful when we were trying to arrange reasonably priced taxis to take disabled mother around. Position of hotel was fantastic, wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. Quiet, with wonderful views of the river and The Charles Bridge. Would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it. Could have done with a mirror in the bedroom though, instead of having to go into bathroom everytime we needed one.
