A rather basic hotel which though filled all my needs. Just stayed overnight between flights and for that a very good location, close to both the station and nice city areas. Very friendly staff.

There was a major rebuilding going on in the hotel every day 8:30-17:00; it would have been nice to have known about that beforehand on the web site. But then, the staff were really nice and made great efforts to make up for the inconveniences.

A very quiet, clean and cozy hotel in downtown Lyon. Very good price/quality relationship. I was there for my job. I will definitely book the hotel again

Far better directions as to how to get to the hotel need to be given

quite small rooms but fantastic location, right in centre of town

The room was large, but bleak and unattractive. Extremely hot and with one tiny window nowhere near the bed for ventilation. The bathroom was not very clean and uninviting. We left after one night although we had booked for 3. It was difficult to find. We were saved by a very friendly local who drove us there when we asked for directions. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

being in lyon with 42-43 degree temperatures and no air conditioning was pretty tough, rooms were small but o.k. area was good very accessible with transport, breakfast was a lovely croissant and roll tea or coffee...quaint,overall not to bad but airconditioning would be a lot better

The location of this hotel is superb, and even though it is so central it was very quiet at night. The staff were friendly and helpful, gave us a map, and let us leave our luggage with them for the morning after we checked out.

We loved staying at this cozy hotel. It is very close to the train/metro/tram station, and a quick walk away from discount shopping and numerous restaurants. The staff is super (especially Pierrette!), giving us perfect directions to get wherever we wanted to go. The only negative note we have is the room was very hot during the day -- take a fan! The common area of the hotel is nicer than the photos indicate -- it's very comfortable.

On my arrival, I told that the reservation was cancel by mistake. They had a available room and they gave it to me. The room was not clean and full of human hair. There wasn't internet connection as it specified in the web site. In the next day, I went to Hotel du Dauphine, 30m up the street, better price, bigger room, clean and free internet connection.

The hotel was good. The welcoming at the arrival, was good but in the evening and in the night it was a man not so nice on the desk. He didn't answer to my salutation, he didn't answer to my request for a wake up call and when in the night, we returned in the hotel at 3:00 a.m. he opened us with slippers showing his clock and saing "IT'S LATE"!!!
