A very convenient and welcoming hotel for anyone travelling within France. It provided the perfect midpoint stop off for our drive to and from the South of France. The town of Baume is lovely too, and the hotel very conveniently situated within easy walking distance of the main sqaure.

Pure rating on quietness of rooms is due to the window blinds (les volets) that made a lot of noice in the wind.

Adequate for sleeping at a nice price. Friendly staff but boring rooms with paper thin walls. Nice town though, and excellent restaurants nearby.

This is a basic french standard hotel, clean rooms and fresh paintwork. The best thing about it is its location and the enormous private car park. We would stay here again on our next trip through France. There is no bar area, but it is right in the middle of Beaune, so there are plenty of places nearby to eat and drink. Don't expect luxury, but if you want a cheap, good quality hotel in a very central position with private parking, this is brilliant. I don't think I would want to stay there for a week, but as a stop off hotel on a drive south it is ideal.

Nice cheap hotel in good location. Family room has two double beds so used the French roll-cusion to seperate the kids. Walls are so thin you can hear your neighbours talking but it was a quiet night.

This was a great stopover hotel. If you just need a bed in a central location two minutes walk from the centre, it is great. In addition there is a large car park (which you pay for) and good breakfast facilities with home made jam. I have been there twice now when in Beaune and would definitely stay there again.

A spartan hotel with ample parking. Nothing to expect as rooms are no frills. We were offered a smokey room although the hotel insisted all rooms are no smoking. But we easily changed into a room with smell of smoke. the beds were too soft to sleep on though, and breakfast costs extra 6euro per person.

The hotel is well situated (next good restaurant, super market, quiet and very very near to pedestrian zone), the front office employees can speak English and German. The bathtub has no curtain, which leads to water on the floor if you do not fully concentrate. Only a small closet is available, which isn't enough for the clothes of two people. But regarding the price everything important (cleanliness, towels...)is OK.

The only problem met is that rooms were not well insulated: we could hear when neighbours (side or upper neighbours) were using water in the bathroom for example.

Breakfast was very small, the bread and croissants were old, beter you go to the bakery next door. The room was small and the bed was terrible! We were passing throw to south france so I was glad to stay only 1 night.

The Arcantis Hotel Au Grand Saint Jean Beaune was a bit Spartan but clean. Staff was helpful and spoke English. We had some traffic noise since there was no air conditioning and we had to keep the window open. The best thing about this hotel is how close it is to the center of the lovely town of Beaune. Everything is in walking distance and there is plenty to do besides stay in the hotel.
