Me and my boyfriend went for a long weekend in Paris earlier this month and had a lovely time! It took me a while to find our accomadation as we weren't prepared to spend a huge amount but didn't want to stay somewhere that was cheap horrible. The Hotel Arc de Triomphe was a brilliant find. The location was ideal - a short walk from the metro Charles de Gaulle Etoile which we used a lot, its so simple and if you're used to the London Underground then this is so much easier! The rooms are clean and quite spacious (we did end up with a twin as this meant we could check in early so the double rooms may be smaller?) The staff are very helpful and there are plenty of Restaurants/bars/deli's around. I've got to admit, when 1st arriving, we were a bit put off (prob me more than my boyfriend! ha ha!) by the 'Exotic bar' a couple doors up - but it seems uninhabited and wasn't open at any time when we were there! The area in general seemed safe and quiet. There is a lovely restaurant called L'Ecluse which the hotel has details of, we ate there on our last night and would highly recommend it as the food is beautiful! Its not a huge place but we didn't have to book, worth a try! Overall, i would say this hotel would suit both families, couples young and old, and individuals!

The rooms are really small!! We took a quadraple room and it was tiny! Windows are very strange, half blocked by bricks. It make you feel like in prison .. Except of this, everything was really fine.

Great location, with very helpful staff and plenty of eating and supermarket choices near by. On the downside room was a little small, as was bathroom. Was handy to have a lift, but was extremely small (only one person and one bag at a time.) Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Recommend to others.

Great hotel, albeit rooms a bit small. Good, friendly staff. Fantastic location. We were a family of two adults and two small children and found it quite adequate. Would certainly recommend.

The two best things about this hotel were the value and location. We traveled to London, Paris, and Barcelona, and this hotel was nicer than a more expensive one we had in London. The hotel is located on a tiny side street, which we liked because it kept noise to a minimum, but it is less than a 5-minute walk to Champs Elysees. The staff was very friendly and quite helpful. We had a very warm greeting and absolutely no surprises when we checked out. There are many options for transportation close by. We used a tour bus, but there are plenty of other buses, subways, and taxis. I believe it would be hard to beat this hotel for value and location and we would definately stay there again.

ARRIVED AT 8.00 P.M. & ALLOCATED ROOM, ONLY TO FIND BEDS NOT MADE & ROOM NOT TIDIED. RECEPTION STAFF HORRIFIED @ APOLOGETIC - QUICKLY ALLOCATED ANOTHER ROOM WITH NO FURTHER PROBLEMS. GOOD SHOWER BUT SMALL WASHBASIN / TOILET. BREAKFAST WAS BASIC BUT MORE THAN ADEQUATE. EASY HOTEL TO REACH FROM METRO & PLENTY OF GOOD RESTAURANTS CLOSEBY. WOULD STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

Here's an hotel with a great value proposition. Room is adequate, new facilities, good staff. I recommend this hotel to just about anyone. One of the best I tried in my stay in france. Only flaw is the breakfast room, that's a little small, and the breakfast itself a little expensive (about 10 euros per person). Minor flaws nonetheless.

Very pleasant staff can't fault them, room was fine though bathroom tiny but the main negative comment was the dirt on the carpet. I wasn't comfortable had kids with me. Location was great and we were only staying one night which I was glad.

We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children. My husband and son had a small charming room on the 4th floor facing the street. The girls had a large room on the 3rd floor facing the courtyard...the windows were 1/2 obstructed with concrete for security(?) reasons. Otherwise, a very good location for it's value. Lenient on people who choose to smoke in the rooms/hallway.

Good standard of hotel with reasonable sized room (there were 3 of us and it was fine in a triple room). Staff friendly, hotel very quiet and convenient for both Metro and RER. We only stayed a night but would be happy to return. Lift tiny - and broke down once - so if it's essential that you have a lift to your rooms might not be the place for you - we were on the 4th floor. Otherwise I would recommend.

Although the rooms were on the small side they were extremely comfortable, and clean. The location is excellent as the nearest metro station is the C de G Etoile. Very friendly staff. I would definitely use this hotel again.

The hotel is modern and comfortable. It's very near to Charles de Gaulle square (Arc de triomphe). There is an underground and train station (RER A, perfect if you want to go to Disney resort). We only find two objections: the breakfast is expensive ans there isn't a small fridge in the room. If we come back to Paris with our children (they are 8 and 11 years old) we sure come back to this hotel.

This is an ideal Hotel for anyone arriving through Beauvais airport and bussing into Port Maillot.(Although I would really call it a B&B without the breakfast! Than a hotel by Irish standards.)The location is a little deceptive on the site map, it is actually nearer the Arc de Triomphe. However, it is in a fantastic location. Our room was quite large by Parisienne standards and clean and modern. You had to be buzzed into the rather small foyer. Our only minus was that tea/coffee making facilities are not available. We didn't have breakfast as it was overpriced.
