Very good small relaxing hotel, ideal to explore central palma

A great hotel in a wonderful cityMy first visit to Palma. My friend had been previously. I chose the the hotel and we both agreed it was a good choice. A little on the edge of the city but this was made up for by the quality of the accommodation and the helpfulness of the staff. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and balcony. The buffet breakfasts were fantastic-plenty of choice for all tastes.Restaurant meals a little overpriced for the quality. Overall, would stay again and recommend to others.

My second visit to the hotel this year, 10 minutes and 20 euros from the airport. Easy to walk into Palma centre. Excellent staff, large clean aircon room. Great lunches by the pool. Ideal quite hotel for couples

We really liked this hotel, we had a nice, spacious room with large balcony overlooking the pool. The 24hr reception was good and being a small hotel it was peaceful and spotless. The location is good too, within walking distance of the main nightlife and resturant streets, and the bus stop is a 3 min a 10min bus ride into the city centre. We also got the bus to Illetes from the same bus stop.

We were so pleased to have found this little oasis of calm in Palma. Although a short walk to front, buses (No 5) were very near hotel, so no problem getting into centre of Palma. The room was spacious, extremely clean and the toiletries were of 4 star standard, even incorporating toothbrush, shaver and shoe cleaning kits! Air conditioning and balcony with lamp and table and two chairs made the room even more enjoyable, as we were fortunate to have a balcony overlooking the pool, which was lovely to swim in and very clean, but we were very lucky to have weather of 33 degrees at this time of year, making it possible to have all meals al fresco. The food, which we decided to sample for two evenings, although only B&B, was of excellent standard and very plentiful ( 3 courses for 16 euros), as was breakfast. We will definitely be revisiting this hotel if we visit Palma again.

this hotel is great value for money especially with air con and breakfast included and its got a pool we only paid 70 euro's so how can you argue with that.

I stayed here for one night before my friends arrived and we went to Magaluf and would recommend it, especially for singles and couples wanting a quieter break. You can walk to the City Centre or the football stadium in under 30 mins, the staff are very helpful and it's lovely having breakfast in the sun by the pool.

Good position and a fairly easy walk to town, buses cheap and relatively easy to find. Nice quiet location,. Pleasant surroundings and good facilities. Dissappointed we had a room without a balcony but we did book late.Could really do with a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities, tea at breakfast was dreadful! Bar staff could be a little more friendly but they were still pleasant.Overall we had an excellent stay.

In many ways I can't fault this hotel - very clean, lovely garden and pool (although this can be overlooked by the public walking down the street and in the apartments opposite). The only problem I had was this hotel is on a back streets of Palma, which although not too far from the front, denied you of any decent view. All you could look out to was the gardens and the private apartments around the hotel, which weren't in all honesty too pleasant. Part of the appeal of going to Palma is having a view overlooking the gorgeous harbour and it's yachts, some of which are worth millions, not to mention the many cruise ships that dock there. I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Palma and the best ones always have that view, so if you really want the experience of feeling like you're staying in a plush resort surrounded by millionaires and beauty, then the Araxa wouldn't be your choice. It's not the hotel's fault, like I said, but that view is magnificent, not to be missed!

The single room they offered was very, very poor, tiny, single small bed, at the end of the building, many stairs to climb, etc. On my strong request I got another room, bigger and with a queensize bed, but no balcony. The matrass was old, dirty and bad. Bathroom was small but ok. Televisionchannels were hard to receive, only 1 english channel. Staff is very friendly and breakfast was ok. Pooltowels 4 free at reception. Wifi didn´t work in the rooms. You need a cable for the modem to get on the internet in your room. Had to take my laptop to the lobby to get connection through Wifi. The Internetcomputer for guests in lobby was free of charge.

We stayed for an enjoyable 3 nights and would have happily stayed longer... Araxa was peaceful, set in pretty grounds with a lovely pool and friendly staff. The walk to the centre was around 25 minutes, so just close enough to visit whenever we wanted - other tourist sites, and the ocean, were within easy walking of the hotel. I would recommend a stay here.
