A short walk from the inn, there are two secluded, white-sand beaches. The hotel can arrange for a day*s excursion to the deserted Scrub Island with its empty beaches. The guests will be dropped off in the morning with a picnic and plenty to drink and bought back. The hotel amenities include the sun terrace, swimming pool, and views of the beach and across the bay. The Arawaks bar and restaurant has traditional Caribbean fare throughout the day and into the evening. The Arawak Beach Inn also has its own shop for gifts, fashions, and sundries. The Arawak Cafe offers good food at good prices. Its waterside location is superb. Home baked, thin crust Pizza is available for take out or eat in. Air-conditioning is available on request. The property features 17 rooms. All the rooms have been recently refurbished and the public facilities updated. All have terraces or balconies, queen or twin beds, ceiling fans, refrigerators, and private bathrooms with showers, and vanity and closet space.
