Great location but I would suggest eating out of the hotel in the local market.

Wonderful hotel. Just make sure you eat before you get to the hotel; restaurant selections are limited.

Hotel exceeded my expectations. I was worried that it wasn't right in the center of town but 5 minutes on the train and you are right at the front steps of the hotel. Its location is great and there are a couple very reasonable and good restaurants just out the front steps. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends.

The hotel literally sits on top of a subway station. You are three or four stops away from the center of town and yet you have the ambience of a nice neighborhood. Not only do you get a higher floor and nicer room, ours had a magnificent view of the Frauenkirche and the Alps in the distance, but you also get a full breakfast in the club restaurant. The club has full computer internet access, snacks, drinks, even champagne, croissants etc. What a delightful experience. I'd go back in a second.

My main concern in Europe is proximity to a centrally located underground stop or train station. Access to anywhere in the Metro area is simple, fast and cheap. This hotel fits the bill to a tee. It was 23 steps from the stairs at the Hameranplatz U-stop, which was 3 stops from Odeonsplatz (City Center), and one exchange from Marienplatz, Munich's version of Times Square. Although the actual location of the hotel was not near any significant site/restaurant, the proximity of the Underground brought ALL of Munich almost to my doorstep. The staff was very American friendly, and English is well spoken by all the staff. They were incredulous when I asked "Sprechen Sie English?", as if to say "Why WOULDN'T I know that." All the staff was very patient and helpful to a first time visitor to Germany whose German is terrible. I would stay here again, without thinking, if the price were reasonable.

The lobby is modern and attractive. The staff spoke English and were quite helpful. The underground was literally right outside the front door which made it very easy to get around the city. The Grayline castle tour left right from this hotel so that was also a plus.

Excellent place to stay in Munich because proximity of Subway makes Downtown and elsewhere easily and cheaply accessible. Friendly, helpful staff, OK room.

Overall, this is a very good hotel. The rooms are nice and very clean; the hotel staff is very friendly. The only bad notes are that the most of the staff only speaks basic English. So anything other than the usual routine and you may be stuck if you don't speak German. There is nothing for tourists nearby, however there is a U bahn and S bahn station right in front of the hotel.

In a quiet section of town, it nonetheless has a U-bahn entrance twenty feet from the front door, and Munich's public transportation system is without equal and very friendly to visitors.

This hotel was excellent for our stay. We required parking and it was available. The room was excellent, staff very helpful to out of town clients. I would not hesitate to rec'd this hotel.

This is a business hotel. Clean, well appointed rooms. There was nothing in the area to walk to, i.e. restaurants, shops, parks, or anything else of tourist interest. U-bahn, S-bahn connections nearby.

I choked to death walking through the lobby, the smoking in this area should not be allowed. I feel sorry for the staff working the front desk.
