this hotel was nasty. there were huge stains on the sheets...me and my friend drove to the store and bought blankets so we didnt have to sleep on the nasty sheets. also, the hotel looks nothing like the pictures at all. and, the bathroom was disgusting...we wore our shoes in the shower.

the room are horrible, the doors are not secure, the tvs do not come in clear, remotes dont work, carpets are stained, beds are small and uncomfortable, rooms smell bad, the office closes at 5 pm so if you need anything after or before 8am-5pm you are screwed

we decided not to bring our dog with us on this trip, this hotel is suited for dogs.

The manager was nice, BUT it took 3 rooms to find a decent one...(one -the toilet didn't work, 2- the air conditioner was broken, finally 3- all worked except the door to the balcony.)

Stayed Wed. to Monday for Daytona 500, 2009. Staff there were excellent. Always checked to see if we needed anything. Hostess booked our golfing for us. Does need some updating (carpeting and painting) but we weren't paying for the Ritz. Shuttle picked up and dropped off right in parking lot. Liquor store just across the street and grocery store just around the corner.

The staff was friendly and helpful....The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, location was excellent, the pool was sparkling clean, and the view from our room was breath taking.

hotel has seen better times, but for dollar valve this place was very good for us. We are a family of two adults and five children. This trip we had three adults and six children, at this motel we were very well recieved.

I have to say that for the price ($47.00) that its a pretty good deal being right on the ocean and all. BUT the room was pretty gross. I wouldnt let my kids (or myself for that matter) walk on the floor without shoes on, the bathroom was moldy, and the remote didnt even work. The staff was decent and the pool was ok except for being filled with lovebugs. We probably would not come back here....

The rooms had an odor and were not in the best repair. We were there three days and the room was not cleaned in the three days of our stay. The pool was dirty and no lighting around it at night! I would not stay there!

Our room was filthy.I would have no problem staying at an older hotel that was well maintained and clean.this was neither. The carpeting was stained.I would not walk on carpet with bare feet.Cigarette burns on chair and carpeting.Door was damaged like someone broke into room at one time.People lived in this hotel.2 of 4 nights stayed awakened by loud arguments in hotel. This hotel needs to be overhauled but probably won't.It is what it is a DIVE I wish i could have just got a whiff of a cleaning agent ie. spic and span instead of smoke. The tub would not drain properly.I booked thru travel agency and could not cancel my reservations so we toughed it out.I would not let my dog stay at this hotel. He is too good! TRUE STORY

The Aqua Terrace Motel is a great value for the money. I would have to say that for what you pay, you can't expect too much. The building is not much to look at, and the room smelled like my grandfather's house when we first walked in! The view was beautiful, however, and the value and location fit our situation perfectly. The staff was incredibly cordial, and very accomodating. The check-in process was quick and easy, and we had no problem when we asked if we could check out later than the hotel check-out time. Keep in mind, however, that this is not a four star hotel. Giving it one star would be adequate, and two stars would be a stretch, but if all you're looking for is a place to rest your head at night, and a very friendly atmosphere, the Aqua Terrace should be at the top of your list.

My Girlfriends and I went to Daytona beach for a Girls weekend. While searching online travel we found the Aqua Terrace. We booked our room and headed over. The staff were very friendly. We went to our room and it was perfect. We stayed in an oceanfront room. The view was spectactular, the room was very very clean, it was perfect. We ( 3 Girls ) felt safe. A big plus today. The pool was beautiful. We are telling all of our friends about this place. We can't wait to go back Cindy

We had a great family beach vacation at the Aqua Terrace Motel. It's right on the beach where we boogie boarded all day. No long wait fro high-rise elevators or walking through the lobby in my swinsuit here! The staff was really helpful and nice. My hubby liked fishing morning and night in the fishing area. We liked the romantic walks on the beach each night. My teens liked the pool. I liked the low price. The only ones who could give this place a bad review would be their competitors. If you are looking for a good, clean, quiet, no-frills place, this one is a great value for the money. I loved the BBQ pits and kitchenette that is stocked with dishes, pots, and glasses, but we also got deli food at the Publix grocery store down the street. We saved a lot of money on food.

I went to daytona for a business meeting. I searched all the hotels in the area and this one caught my eye. It was perfect for my needs. A clean room, A great bed. Friendly staff. A quiet stay on the beach. I made coffee with the in room coffee maker and enjoyed my morning on the large pool deck overlooking the atlantic ocean. A great place to unwind after business meetings all day.

I'm glad I chose this motel because it's right on the beach and has lots of area to get sun around the pool. There are several grills for barbecueing so you don't have to go out to eat every night. There are refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms too. The only bad thing was there was a coffee filter left in the coffee maker. It's an older motel, but it was clean. The shampoo was conditioning enough that it got the tangles out of my hair after being on a boat and the wind knotting my hair severely.

We were recently in daytona / ormond beach. We found this great little property. it is not pretencious at all. Staff is very outgoing and friendly. They helped us with places to eat, and activities in the area. The rooms are spacious and very clean. we had a great view over the atlantic ocean. We had a great price for this view. why stay in a overpriced highrise. the pool deck patio with grills and the pool is so clean. We will be back

I just stayed there over the past weekend. Nice beach & pool looked OK. This is the typical, seen better days, 50's motel that is in desperate need of a renovation or bull dozing some time soon. THe entry door still uses a key with the room number and hotel name on the key ID tag--not great for security. The deadbolt wouldn't latch. No alarm clock in room or wakeup call avaialble. Bed itseld was like an old sofa and bed spread reeked of smoke. Must have some rooms rented by the month, as the same pets were repeatedly seen walking around the balconny and doormats were located outside some rooms. Did provide a security guard in the parking lot at nights.

The carpet was so dirty our feet were black after walking on it, we asked for more towels and put them on the floor so we could walk on them instead of the carpet. The curtains were falling down, the springs on the bed were literally poking through, the walls were cracked, the room smelled horrible (they did give us some spray when we went to the office). This is the type of room one expects for $40.00 a nite, not $150.00 a nite.
