The hotel was wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room came with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and they didnt charge for use of the safe. The continental breakfast was good and included fresh fruits, muffins, donuts, oatmeal, varieties of toast, and they made fresh hot pancakes every morning. The beach was a straight walk and took maybe 5 minutes or less. The only problem i faced was parking. The entire city of Wakiki has a parking problem and one night it took me 45 minutes to find a spot. The hotel does have limited parking so you have to book it early, and it costs $20.00 a night. Almost every hotel in Wakiki charges for parking. So if you can park on the street it will save you some money. But be careful they have tow away signs posted at certain hours, so you have to look for those.

Free high speed Internet. Very small room, its not a real hotel, its a converted condo complex.

Was a great budget option! Definately clean enough and an excellent location! I would definately stay again! :)

The hotel was everything I expected from researching it online. Great price. Staff were very nice. Activity specialist at front desk was great, we got to go to a luau for free because she set us up with a time share presentation. Continental breakfast was ok, but there was no protein source. Free coffee in the lobby all the time was great. Pool was small and everytime I tried to go to it all the lounge chairs were taken, but the beach was a five minute walk. Laundry room was helpful. Room was small but clean. I liked having a balcony with a view of the canal, street and hotels closer to the beach, but I guess all the rooms don't have that view. It was within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and other activities in Waikiki. I was definitely happy with my stay and recommend this hotel.

My boyfriend and I choose this hotel based on price, location and amenities and we were not disappointed. The room was clean, the shower was hot. Our room was small but comfortable. The free continental breakfast was a money saver plus we enjoyed meeting guests from all over the world. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The hotel is just a short walk to all of Waikiki's restaurants, shops and beach. We always had a parking spot. Yes the trash trucks were noisy in the morning but our room was on the street side. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was excellent. Three blocks off Wakiki beach. Grocery store next door for alcohol, snacks, quick food, etc. First room was somewhat small. for $20. more a night we upgraded to an excellent room on the the twelth floor. As most of the area is condo's or hotels the views are of other buildings mostly. Scooter rental is available downstairs at Eddies bar. Contiental breaksfast was plentifull. The staff was very polite and helpfull. As we booked through Orbitz we didn't know the true cost on a daily basis. But felt the overall price for air, hotel and car was a very good value.

The staff seemed pretty friendly. The room was too hot - poor AC. The hotel was difficult to find. The rooms are quite small and not very nice. The worst thing was that the AC was just not adequate, and you couldn't get cool unless you were sitting right in front of the AC unit. Also, it was really noisy outside. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Luckily, we were only there one night.

This hotel is beautiful. Our daughter actually found this hotel for us on [your website]. The rooms are beautiful. They have the best bed we've ever slept in at a hotel. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. There a lot of amenities close by and the beach is a stone's throw away from the hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

Just returned from staying at this property and enjoyed it alot. Stayed for 7 nights with my wife and the hotel was great. The room was clean upon arrival and cleaned by the maid daily to a satisfactory level. She could have done a better job of cleaning the bathroom & I did leave a tip for her every other day. Besides that, the staff are good and friendly except for the front desk. She was rude and arrogant. The bell hop is great and friendly. The breakfast is fabulous each morning. Don't know about the free internet downstairs, was not told about it and never saw anyone using it because the restaurant or cafe where it was stationed, seemed closed all the time. The approximity to the beach and main stores is great. Overall, great place to stay and would stay again on our next trip.

Overall, it wasn't to bad. If you intend to relax in the room, find a better hotel. If you just want a place to sleep, then this is your place. The bathroom was tiny, as was the sink area outside of the toilet/shower. Said they upgraded the room for me, however, I think they downgraded me. Parking is 18 dollars a day, their room guide book states 14 dollars a day. ( They will not refund or give you 14 dollar rate) Overall, I wouldn't stay again. I'd spend the money on something better. Their breakfeast consists of orange juice, muffiins, coffee.

The staff was nice. Tiny room, wretched beds, location was bordering on slums. I cannot think of the circumstances under which I would return to this hotel. A standard room had 2 twins, and barely room for that. The bathroom tile had mildew, as did the curtain. The breakfast was pathetic, we would have been better off grabbing a few things from the ABC store.

This hotel was a real treasure! I was most impressed with the service from the staff, they called me by name when they saw me and you could tell they genuinely wanted to make my experience a great one. The hotel also had the some fantastic vies, I stayed at a city facing room and I thought it was superb as I could also see the mountains and a little bit of the sea. The location is also fantastic as their is a supermarket around the corner. I liked not being on the main street and found the location to be much close than I anticipated to the main streets anyway to get anywhere I needed to go. I loved all the extras the hotel lobby had from complementary breakfast to a dinner , tour booking facilities, free daily papers and internet access, it is also a very very clean hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. We stayed on the 4th floor. I am sure they probably have more luxurious rooms but our little room served its purpose. The maid service did a good job cleaning our room even when we tracked in a lot of sand from the beach. Everything is in walking distance which is really nice and it is easy to get to the beach. I liked how they had a mini fridge and a safe. If you will be there on a Tuesday definately head to the lobby at 5pm. They have music, free drinks, and a free 5 minute massage. I didn't get the massage because it was out in the open in front of everybody but the drinks were great. They had Wipe outs which are basically blue hawaiians. I had 3 and my husband had 5. No limit. My husband and I also got married on the 5th night of our stay. When we returned they sent up free champagne and chocolates. Even though we don't like champagne or the chocolates they sent we still thought it was a very nice gesture. Made us feel like they really cared. Definately take advantage of their free breakfast too! It was quite good. They had pancakes, muffins, toast, Hot oatmeal, mini doughnuts, etc. It saves a lot of money when you can get your first meal of the day for free.

This place is old but has been recently renovated and is tastefully decorated. Room was cozy, included flat screen T.V. and internet port and refirgerator. Includes meager continental breakfast. Pros-nice room at decent price. Cons-have limited parking for 14 a day, otherwise you have to park at a sister facility several blocks away, only ice machine is in the lobby. We asked for early check in and the room was not ready, was told they would hold my bags and they would get the room cleaned. Came back on hour later and was told that the room was still not ready. I told the desk clerk that I would wait in the lobby if he could let me know when the room was ready. An hour later he still had not indicated the room was ready although I was sitting in front of him. Acted like he had never seen me before when I asked if the room was ready yet. Poor service from this guy. Afternoon clerk was very helpful as was the housekeeper.

We found the hotel just fine and checked in. Very pleasant staff at check in. We had asked for adjoining rooms over the phone and were promised them. Instead, family members were two doors down and they tried to stick us in the room right next to the elevator. We asked for different arrangements and met with mild resistance, but eventually got rooms at opposite ends of the hotel on the same floor...not exactly adjoining either. The good news is the corner rooms are the most spacious. The quality of the room was spotty. We did not have any chairs in our room, while other family members had chairs in theirs. We had no bedspread, and the other room did. Our sink was backed up, but the other was not. Bed was comfortable enough and there were towels aplenty. Nice refrigerator (sp) and microwave. TV was a 19" flat screen. Fair amount of storage space. Rooms were on the front of the hotel and had spectacular views of Diamond Head and Waikiki beach (we were only 3 blocks from beach). Room was pretty clean, but during our stay we had to ask twice (i.e. on two separate days) for our room to be cleaned after coming back to hotel in late afternoon. Each room had a wall unit air conditioner. They were pretty noisy and took quite a while to cool the room down. This was partly due to the fact that the windows were the slat type. This also allowed ALOT of street noise into the rooms. For some reason they allow garbage trucks to do their rounds @ 5:00am. Also Waikiki is a very densely populated area with lots of nightlife. The late nighters can be a bit noisy. Yes the rooms were reasonably priced and had an outstanding view and location. But overall with the poor service in some areas and noise/comfort levels compromised, next time we'll spend a few extra $ and stay at a more traditional hotel. Hope this helps.

This hotel is walking distance to Waikiki. Great location. The hotel needs to work on cleaning & customer friendliness. Just like the others say this hotel is great for the budget traveler. I went into this place as just a place to sleep and that is just what it is, no fluff. The rooms are not large. The TV is very small. You are given the minimum number of towels needed, but can ask for more at the front desk. The front desk staff is not very personal able. There is one large guy that is awesome. They do not change the sheets. You really need to have a clothes line to hang your wet clothes to dry on the balcony. You get to do your own dishes and you do not get fresh cups. This place is clean but a little aged if they put a little money into it, it would be an awesome place. Breakfast is very light. But you can buy some items and put them in your fridge for breakfast. I do recommend this place, it served the purpose for just sleeping. The room never cooled we had the AC on 62 and it never felt close to that. We were on the 10th floor and we did have some noise but it wasn't too bad. Parking we got the last spot on a Saturday night but when we looked in the garage on the weekday there wasn't a shortage. They have a laundry room which you get the key from the front desk and you are the only one using it at a time.

Rooms are on the small side. Ours was on a low floor and did not have a balcony making it rather claustrophobic. A light buffet breakfast is included in the price which is convenient. Quiet yet convenient location.

We recently stayed at the Aqua Aloha Surf hotel in Waikiki Beach and had a great experience. As soon as we got the hotel we were greated warmly by our guest services affiliate, which made us feel extremly comfortable. Also, all the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. One nice selling point is they have someone working at the front desk who can book trips for you or arrange transportation to various locations. As far as location the hotel is right down the street from the beach and all the shops. This made things easy for us as we had no rental car. With everything so close we had no trouble recieving directions on where to go or how to get there. Plus walking down to the beach brings you past a lot of very nice shops. We found this hotel to truly be a "hidden gem"

We were very surprised and pleased with the value! The hotel has been completely redone and seems that they just finished. The deisgn is very cool. We stayed in a corner room #*** with a balcony and wrap around windows. The views of the ocean, city and mountains are amazing. Friendly staff. Easy to feel at home there. Great location. Great price. Will definitely be back!
