This hotel was a real treasure! I was most impressed with the service from the staff, they called me by name when they saw me and you could tell they genuinely wanted to make my experience a great one. The hotel also had the some fantastic vies, I stayed at a city facing room and I thought it was superb as I could also see the mountains and a little bit of the sea. The location is also fantastic as their is a supermarket around the corner. I liked not being on the main street and found the location to be much close than I anticipated to the main streets anyway to get anywhere I needed to go. I loved all the extras the hotel lobby had from complementary breakfast to a dinner , tour booking facilities, free daily papers and internet access, it is also a very very clean hotel.

My boyfriend and I choose this hotel based on price, location and amenities and we were not disappointed. The room was clean, the shower was hot. Our room was small but comfortable. The free continental breakfast was a money saver plus we enjoyed meeting guests from all over the world. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The hotel is just a short walk to all of Waikiki's restaurants, shops and beach. We always had a parking spot. Yes the trash trucks were noisy in the morning but our room was on the street side. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, it wasn't to bad. If you intend to relax in the room, find a better hotel. If you just want a place to sleep, then this is your place. The bathroom was tiny, as was the sink area outside of the toilet/shower. Said they upgraded the room for me, however, I think they downgraded me. Parking is 18 dollars a day, their room guide book states 14 dollars a day. ( They will not refund or give you 14 dollar rate) Overall, I wouldn't stay again. I'd spend the money on something better. Their breakfeast consists of orange juice, muffiins, coffee.

This is a clean, comfortable place to crash on low funds in Honolulu, near all the City life and great beaches. The air conditioning worked great, cable was great, walking distance to Waikiki beach and City amenities. The hotel's parking garage was full, but free on-street parking was easy to find if you drove around the block a few times - typical city parking. I would stay there again for the price and convenience!

This place is old but has been recently renovated and is tastefully decorated. Room was cozy, included flat screen T.V. and internet port and refirgerator. Includes meager continental breakfast. Pros-nice room at decent price. Cons-have limited parking for 14 a day, otherwise you have to park at a sister facility several blocks away, only ice machine is in the lobby. We asked for early check in and the room was not ready, was told they would hold my bags and they would get the room cleaned. Came back on hour later and was told that the room was still not ready. I told the desk clerk that I would wait in the lobby if he could let me know when the room was ready. An hour later he still had not indicated the room was ready although I was sitting in front of him. Acted like he had never seen me before when I asked if the room was ready yet. Poor service from this guy. Afternoon clerk was very helpful as was the housekeeper.

We arrived late. We were given the top floor mini-suite with king bed, two sided balcony, kitchenette- very nice and clean- it greatly exceeded our expectations. We were given a late check-out to allow for sightseeing before boarding our cruise ship. Great staff and great hotel. The breakfast was merely average, but it was free and filling!

We were very surprised and pleased with the value! The hotel has been completely redone and seems that they just finished. The deisgn is very cool. We stayed in a corner room #*** with a balcony and wrap around windows. The views of the ocean, city and mountains are amazing. Friendly staff. Easy to feel at home there. Great location. Great price. Will definitely be back!

This hotel was rated a 3 star in Honolulu there really are not many 3 star hotels they are old but they did a good job of keeping it as clean and updated as possible. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Honestly I read the reviews and was not completely sold on the place but for the money I wanted to spend it's all I could afford. I am very pleasantly surprised and happy with the hotel. It had fast and easy service and the location is very close to everything. Its not beach front but honestly you don't need it, it's literally 2 blocks and there are many things close by like resturants and bus stops and the ever present ABC store. The only thing is that there was no on site spa and the spa that they sent us to was NOT good. Go to the 24 hours gym, their's is great and cheap.
