A really good find! A very good location in Florence, close to the railway station and tour starting points. The hotel is very well run with friendly staff who were very helpful. Breakfast in the courtyard was a great experience!Very good value compared to other hotels in other big Italian cities.Spacious room and a big, well equipped bathroom. It worked well for our family of four.

Hotel muy viejo, incomodo y ruidoso Increible que tenga ese precio y no merece cuatro estrellas en ningun caso

Reading the reviews on this website we expected more for our money. Sure the breakfast was great and the staff helpful and friendly but we found the room smaller than anticipated. We found it hard to reach the hotel by car due to road works and parking in general in Florence is expensive. The hotel's position is great, easy walking distance to the main attractions. Great bathroom packs!

We stayed in a quad room. It was beautifully decorated and even with 2 extra beds very spacious. The marble bathroom was small but had everything you needed included free toiletries. This hotel has a great feel and character due to it being a beautifully restored 15th century building. It is a 5 minute walk from the trainstation in a quiet street, near restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. I would definately stay there again and recommend this hotel for a great stay in beautiful Florence.

This was my first visit to Florence and found the hotel quite easily. It was nice and close to the train station, quite convenient. The hotel was lovely, nice personal touches made you feel at home. My only complaint is the paper thin walls, the noise from the other rooms and hall did keep me awake.

Great Hotel for the price. Rooms were huge compared to any hotel we stayed in Europe. Large two room suite for the four of us. Great location, ten minute walk to Uffizi.

We stayed in Paris for a week, Hotel Aprile for 3 nights and Rome 3 nights. By far, the Hotel Aprile was the best. Very nice hotel and great location. Our room was not ready when we got there at 8:00 am, which we thought it would not be, but they offered us a better room at the same rate if we wanted it, but it was next to the street. It was somewhat noisy but they told us that going in.

Hotel with character. Very comfortable and staff were very polite & helpful, unlike, it seems, the average Italian shop assistant ! Location was excellent - a few minutes walk from just about anywhere in Florence and very handy for SMN station. If returning to Florence would stay there again.

We only spent one night at the hotel, however, the room was very large, very clean, well appointed. Staff was outstanding - they guided us through the narrow streets of Florence by phone until we reached the hotel. I would not hesitate to return to the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of all the important sights and main shopping area. We had no trouble finding our way around and back to the hotel.

Although it wasn't in the most desirable neighbourhood of Florence, it was handy for transport and within easy walking distance of the sights and numerous bars and restaurants. It was well worth taking the number 7 bus from the bus station to Fiesole (20 mins), a fab view of Florence! The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the room very nice.

Bon hôtel au coeur de Florence. Equipe très accueillante et disponible. Petit-déjeuner quelconque mais cadre agréable. Attention si vous avez une voiture : comptez 25 à 30 euros par jour en plus pour le garage.

Nice, quiet and friendly hotel in a convenient location close to the railway station (and everything else). Good breakfast with great coffee or hot chocolate to your liking. The mosquitoes were a bit bothersome even at breakfasttime, so bring repellent.

This is a lovely hotel and we were extremely satisfied with the beautifully decorated room and the assistance of the very accomodating staff. The hotel is just around the corner from the train station which was perfect for us. The area was fine, not what you would expect for such close proximity to the train station. A 7 euro cab ride to the furthest site and you can walk back. Worth it, even on a hot day. Just wonderful! If you sit out in the hotel's lovely garden be sure to take some bug spray though, they're little critters and you don't know they're there until you've been bitten real good. Sight seeing tip: The Accademia Museum (David!) is free after 19:00! Confirm before you go, but that was the policy last week. Big savings and supposedly, there is no line at about 20:00.

I loved this hotel. There were 4 of us (women) and we stayed in the Family Room. It was beautiful! Two rooms, they were huge and the decor was amazing. Also, I had asked the front desk to ship some things home for me and they gladly did it, most hotels would send you to the post office yourself. That's service!

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We had a quad room which had two double four poster beds and lots of space. Big bathroom. Lovely courtyard for breakfast and cocktails in the evening. Staff were very helpful. Hotel very central. Everything about it was excellent. Will definitely be going back and recommending hotel to others.
