The family-friendly Hemizeus Apartment Hotel & Iremia Spa was nicely renovated in 2010 and offers a total of 39 rooms and apartments spread across 3 different houses. It offers a free shuttle service for guests from the train station in Zermatt to the hotel and back on arrival and departure days. Facilities at the hotel include a lobby, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, Internet access (fees apply), room service and a laundry service.

The Hemizeus Apartment Hotel & Iremia Spa is situated in the southern, quieter part of Zermatt, with a breath-taking view of the Matterhorn. The nearest restaurant is around 100 m away, the town centre with bars and clubs is around 800 m away, and Zermatt's tourist centre and shops can be found within around 1 km of the hotel. It is only 7 km away from the Small Matterhorn Express Gondola, and in good snow conditions it is even possible to ski in and out of the hotel in the wintertime.

All rooms are renovated and en suite with a shower, WC and hairdryer. Amenities include a double bed, direct dial telephone, cable TV, wireless Internet access and individually regulated heating. Most of the rooms have a terrace or a balcony with beautiful Matterhorn views.

The hotel has a beautiful new health and spa area, including a solarium with sun loungers and parasols, a hot tub, sauna, steam room and both massage and spa treatments.

A continental breakfast and breakfast buffet is served each morning, while dinner is available la carte or from a set menu. The hotel pampers guests with the la carte restaurant, bar, ancient wine cellar and much more.
