The room was ok, good size and clean. But there was no hot water, the shower not work correctly and toilet would not flash...so all in all very poor.....

Good Location, otherwise very average expected better.Upon arrival room was not pre allocated had to wait. Hotel was very tired, in need of a good refurb. Rooms clean and tidy pool looked nice. breakfast OK.I was positioned above the kitchens and it was quite noisy. Finally even though I had provided my car reg no, my car was had a huge notice glued to the windscreen claiming I was illegally parked. After my complaint, staff were immediate with the removal of the notice and glue all over the screen and of course very apologetic!For the money I expected better.

Great value ,good service and good food.Rooms and corridors need a little brightening uoOverall I was very please with my stay.Hotel is centrally situated staff were friendly.Breakfast was excellent.Room service was good value,tasty and efficient.I would have no difficulty in recommending this hotel.

Apollo Hotel, St HelierThe hotel was only a short walk from the main bus station and very close to the main shopping street. The best thing about the hotel in my opinion was the breakfast - delicious! The pool and jacuzzi were also much appreciated. If i had one criticism it would be the check out time, 10:30 seems a bit early compared to most other hotels these days.

Customer Service Training NeededRude and abrupt staff on arrival - was spoken to as if I were a child and at 30 years old that was not much appreciated. Room was acceptable - large and comfortable bed but bathroom in need of modernisation. Breakfast was very good though with a wide a selection to choose from and a lovely atmosphere. Overall - good central location which served our needs for the one night we were there.

Apollo like the spaceship - a bit noisyMy room was very small and the light in the bathroom was faulty. It was on the main road side of the hotel and despite an attempt at double glazing it was very noisy. No spare pillows in the room.I felt that I had been put in one of the worst rooms in the hotel because I was paying quite a bit below rack rate as I had booked through late rooms. There were plenty of rooms at the back of the hotel which I assume were a lot quieter.I booked this hotel because it offerred free on site parking which is important if you are staying in St Helier Jersey where parking is a nightmare. Fortunately I arrived at the hotel at 4.30 as the number of spaces in their car park are extremely limited!

March 2009 reviewI have used thius hotel before booking this through Laterooms.com. The hotel is very conveniently located for the Town centre of St helier and if booked through Laterooms, is not ludicrously priced as some of the other hotels in St Helier for both business and Holiday travel. The dining room has reecntly had a complete renovation and other parts of the hotel have been redecorated. I had a problem with not having any hot water when i arrived and left the staff to move my belongings to a new room which they did very efficiently. Save money and stay her

So So ApolloAdequate, but uninspiring. Convenient location for town centre. Dated decor throughout. 'Superior' double actually two (very hard) single beds put together - impossible to sleep in the middle. Pleasant view of courtyard from the restuarant.

Only 2 minor negative point in that the bed and pillows were hard. However, surprisingly spacious room in a nice hotel with high cleanliness standards and friendly staff. We went Mid January for 3 nights and thought itt was good value for money at £49 per night for 2 of us including a good breakfast by the indoor swimming pool. Well located near the town centre.

The hotel is very convenient for the town centre being only a five minute walk to the main shoping area. It has a both outside and inside swimming pools and a nice garden area which would be very nice in the summer. Good sized bar area and good buffet type breakfast in retuarant overlooking the pool/garden. Rooms are clean and tidy but a little dated, but at half the cost (or less) of the Pomme D'or or Royal Yacht this makes an ideal spot for business and holiday guests.

My family are resident on the Island and I have stayed at this Hotel previously. The proximaty to the centre of town is excellent, hotel serivice is exceptional - a thank you once again to all staff - will see you again in 2009

A real let down. Pretty seedy from outside, slightly better inside. Reasonable service at reception, but head waiter pompous. Room was small but acceptable. Evening meal disappointing as was breakfast - despite only a handful of guests, it was buffet style: goodness knows how long the eggs and bacon had been out, but they were virtually inediable.

gd value for moneyclea, large rooms, you get what you pay for and for £59 per night for the room it was totally adequate and were happy with itbrekkie gd and variedrooms large airybathrooms need refurbing (bit 70s)adjoining door bit indiscreet but on whole gd value for money

Room had no heating one evening, although this was sorted immediately by staff. Food was fine, hotel could do with modernising but otherwise fine. Helpful staff. Would stay again for a short break, near shops etc.
