No surprise, exactly what was described on the website. Hotel near center and superb view on the acropolis from the terrace where there is a little and quiet restaurant. The parking is very very little (max 1 to 2 cars no more). Employees very polite and helpful

Good hotel in handy location. Multilingual receptionist makes all guests most welcome and is extremely helpful with sightseeing arrangements. Rooftop beer garden/eatery with views of Acropolis.

Hotel muy ruidoso debido al tráfico rodado. Ubicado cerca muy cerca del metro y por tanto muy bién ubicado.

Hotel is around the corner from a Metro station, making everything in Athens readily accessible. Great Acropolis view from the rooftop restaurant.

Very nice hotel, close to metro station and bus stops, very nice atmosphere, friendly service, good breakfasts, good Greek homemade food in terrace restaurant, beautifull view on Acropolis. The only one disadvantage for me .... to small bathroom.

Unico problema é costituito dal traffico incessante a tutte le ore e dallo scarso potere filtrante delle imposte.

Nice hotel near the Metro station. Only 20 min walk to Acropolis, but you need walking through China town. Fine view to Acropolis from roof restaurant.

No shampoo and soap changing in our room everyday, no restaurant inside the hotel, the hotel is near the metro but is very awful and dangerous around it. The breakfast was very poor. No spanish so was very difficult to communicate with us. And the italian woman who was on the reception in the morning was no very pleasant.

This was the poorest venere 3 star rated hotei we have ever stayed in - (it should be 2 star at best) Up until now, we have been consistently pleased with venere, having used you for quite a few hotles over 3 major trips. Maybe not again

Only a few steps away from the Metaxourigo metro station. Balcony with nice view but heavy street noise. Small but clean room with everything working including AC. Breakfast buffet ok. Price/quality relation seem ok.

The bonus was a small balcony which looked out over the city to the Acropolis, wonderful at night when it is floodlit. There is also a nice little roofgarden bar open in the evenings. The hotel is very conveniently situated close to the metro. Rooms basic but adequate.

Front desk at the hotel was pretty helpful. First night there my wife, kid, and I took a walk to see the area. We went through a not so travelled road and it was horrible. Make sure you stick to main roads. The subway was a great way to get around.

The hotel was in a good location with a metro station close by. The hotel had a great roof top bar with a fastastic view to the Acropolis.

A good hotel to spend a couple of days if you are looking for a simple accomodation. Negative point: people surronding hotel during the night

First time to stay at Hotel Apollo. This hotel is cleaner & better than I expect. Budget hotel to stay, with balcony and breakfast is ok. Some rooms have bath tub, some rooms have shower only. Close to subway station & Larissa train station, convenient to travel to different spots. Though not far from subway, the direction to hotel is not so clear in the area (street name is not clear, map is not so clear). The guy reception in the evening is not friendly. He works in his own way, instead of working for customer. The lady in the morning is much better. This did push me away to stay for another night, though the hotel quality is ok. I left the hotel early in the morning, the room can be noisy @ traffic time. We also have problem modifying our booking. One of us cancel the trip due to fire in Greece in the last minute. According to Venere.com, 'after the cancellation deadline it is also necessary to contact the property directly, since in this case only the property can accept changes free of charge'. However, the hotel man said we can only review the modification with venere. All other hotels have agreed to modify our booking, we don't understand why Hotel Apollo cannot.
