When we checked in, we were given a smoking room when orbitz.com said that the entire hotel was non-smoking. We told them and were immediately switched to a bigger, non-smoking room. The hotel is very modern with nice amenities, and we had a great stay. The room service was reasonable priced and convenient.

We were very pleased with this hotel. High standard at reasonable price for being in London. Quite area, still centrally located.

This hotel is steps from the tube & river with beautiful modern decor & great rates.

Excellent. Would definitely recommendWe stayed on a Friday night. The hotel was very easy to find - close to a number of subway stations (Tower Hill being the closest). Being in London in the middle of the recent heatwave it was great to find the room "airconned" down to a chilly 19C. Nice modern room with a big bed, big 42" LCD TV, big bathroom...will definitely stay there again and would definitely recommend to others. We based our decision to stay on the reviews here on Laterooms which I can confirm are 100% accurate.

This is a beautiful comfortable hotel with a good restaurant dowstairs. We stayed in a king deluxe room and the bathtub was big enough for two people - a rarity in european hotels. Very helpful staff, refridgerator in the room. Extremely quiet. Excellent bed, very clean comfortable and stylish all around. The neighborhood is not the most happening, but you will be near the Tower of London and close to the tube. Walking distance from the river, the bridges, St.Paul's. A wonderful hotel. I would reccomend it strongly.

Fantatic hotel. Staff very helpful. We were upgraded to a suite that overlooked tower bridge - amazing! Perfect ending to our wedding! You can take away your rubber duck as a memento!

Upon check-in my wife and I were immediately upgraded to a superior room. It was quite large. The hotel was very clean and modern. lt's in the City of London and the area is very quiet after 6pm and on the weekend. If you want to stay in central London this is not the hotel for you, but if you don't mind taking the Tube it's only a minor inconvenience. Some minor quibbles with the service. The water in the shower could have been a bit hotter, and we didn't receive a wake-up a call that we had requested. Overall it was a positive experience.

Hotel for Hard Rock Calling WeekendThis was an excellent hotel and very convenient for the concert we went to in Hyde Park as the 15 bus goes door to door, or the tube is only 25 min trip. Close to Tower of London and many other attractions on the riverside which you can visit by boat. The hotel is contemporary and provided everything we needed - we stayed an extra night and were given a good discount. Very cheap parking available nearby and the hotel staff gave us clear directions.

Incredible value for the money at the rate we got. I wish I could have booked it for my entire stay in London, but it was unavailable or the rates were too pricey during the week. This is a luxury business hotel that gives great deals on the weekends.

Apex, Tower HillWe arrived early and were allowed to leave our luggage until the room was ready, on our return we were upgraded to a deluxe double free of charge. The room was excellent, tastefully decorated, clean and cool (it was a hot day, fully air conditioned). The bathroom had a large bath and separate large shower room. Safe, Fridge and free internet, and the bed was huge.less than 5 minutes walk from Tower Hill Tube with no main roads to cross. Will be using this hotel again.

Good value for money in a great location; places to eat & drink locally & the tube easily accessibleAlthough a little disappointed with our original room when this was expressed to reception hotel staff were very accommodating and upgraded our room at no extra cost. This is a great base for a trip with ammenities nearby including; Tesco, pubs, restaurants, cafes and the tube. I would recommend this hotel and will definately use it again when we next visit London.

Very modern clean Hotel - Highly Reccomended!Stayed at the Apex in Edinburgh also but this one is more stylish. Very clean and well placed hotel, literally only a few minutes walk to Tower Hill tube station.Bathroom is excellent, furnishings are great/boutique style and it has a 40" LCD TV. Highly reccomended for £100 a night!

We only stayed at the hotel for a night, but the facilities and the cleanliness were excellent. We didn't eat in the hotel owing to the ridiculous prices (approximately £22 for a decent English breakfast!), but we were well aware that we got the room at a much discounted price and that most of the clientele are probably quite happy to pay that kind of money! A good choice and well placed for central London.

No complaints at all - apart frm lack of tea/coffee in the room. Very pleasant room, fab shower and absolutely spotless.
