Great locationThe apartment is in a fantastic location with plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and funky shops. If you're after the young, trendy and affordable Berlin - this is the area. The apartment itself is made up of 5 double rooms, one communal kitchen and one bathroom with toilet and shower. It's clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed staying here. There are only three criticisms I can offer: 1. it was unusually cold at night but as it was technically summer (june) the central heating was off (hot showers helped); 2. one bathroom is fine in off-season but if the 5 rooms were full I imagine there would be chaos; 3. and there was no one in the apartment to ask for directions or information about surrounding area (but, then again this isn't a hotel or hostel) so come prepared. All in all, thoroughly recommended!!

We booked for Schulz Apartment but we were placed in an alternative accomodation which is a Day Spa - fully equiped with 4 showers, water bed, 3 saunas (not in operation, we have to pay extra if we want to use it) and heated floors! They even have lava lamps in the room! A bit weird but for a short stay it made an interesting stay and a good story to tell. Overall we had no problems as the location is good (close to Schulz Apartment) and friendly staff.

We rent a 3 bed room; we had to share bath and kitchen, skeptic on the beginning but without problems or queues at all. All was very clean, the water was hot with pressure, toilet papers and clean towels, central heating everywhere , the kitchen had microwave and the basics, they supply us very kindly with coffee for the morning, the room was an ikea zone, clean spacious with all the necessary to crash on the bed after a long day: clean sheets and big pillow! The place is very near the underground and have nice cafes around with lovely pastries, at walking distance is an industrial area full of clubs, with internet , doners and food/drink all night. The manager of the room was nice, helpful and very friendly, the only down point was the next room neighbors that where too noisy talking, but we where to exhausted to bother. The place itself wasn’t the most beautiful place I have visit, but for that price...was a good choice.
