Apartment Embassy is in the same beautiful building which used to house the Swedish Embassy a stunning studio apartment located just off Andrassy boulevard and only a minutes walk from Liszt Ferenc square, the main square for many of the best bars and restaurants. One block from the apartment is Oktogon, again with many restaurants and is also a main junction for the metro, bus and trams. From here you will be able to pick public transport to take you in any direction around the city. Many of the main tourist sightsattractions are a few minutes walk away - the Opera House, Heroes Square, Andrassy ut, Terror House museum. This studio apartment offers great comfortable accommodation in a quiet building. Beautifully decorated and furnished with a king size double bed and separate dining area in the main room, fully equipped kitchen and a shower room. Apartment Embassy offers a great location in the city at a great price for up to 2 adults + baby facilities are available if required.

nice quiet apartment, very helpful agentIf you want modern state of the art decor not for you but this is a great place to stay for the weekend. Kitchen with some provisions thoughtfully left there, large bedroom with DVD and tv and dvds and books left. Nice quiet courtyard in a really good location, 4 minutesfrom the Oktogon subway station, just off the posh Andrassy street and 10 minutes from Nyugati station where your train from the airport gets in.Clean, quiet easy to book in and out. Recommend it.

The unit was lovely... very clean, spacious and well presented with modern, comfortable furniture and with all the utensils and crockery you could need in the kitchen. There are apparently bikes available for people who stay there, though it's so centrally located, just near the main restaurant area, that I didn't seek them out.Only very minor criticisms: the shower is quite small, and it was unseasonally cold one evening when I was there and I couldn't work out how to turn on the heater, but I suspect the owner would normally have this sorted out in colder seasons. The unit I stayed in was also on the ground floor (I'd prefer to be higher) but it's at the back of the building off the central courtyard, so at least it's still nice and peaceful. All told, a great place to stay.

Any questions we had were quickly answered before we left home. We were met at the door and shown round the apartment and also given an excellent recommendation for a local restaurant. Two cycles were also made available but we only used one of them once.The apartment is in a good central area, very quiet and only 15 minutes walk to the River Danube. An excellent base to see Budapest and lots of public transport close by if you don't want to walk.

What a fantastic base for our holiday, the exterior didn't give a great impression, but as we pulled up Andy was waiting to show us the apartment. Once we saw the apartment, we realized we had nothing to worry about. It was clean comfortable and as we soon found out it was a perfecly sited base. We were literally yards from trams, buses, trolley buses. Only a short walk from underground, hef railway. We could also walk down to the banks of the Danube and many more 'touristy' places. Many great places to eat were also less than 5 minutes walk, the food was great!! There were also bikes to use, but we didn't use them as the public transport was so close and so good they were not needed. Most of the time, even the public transport wasn't needed. If you want comfort and luxury, go to the Hilton, if you want a great comfortable, convenient base, stay here!!
