Internet photos and description sounded good. 3 keys (the highest) from late rooms. Arrived late due to weather, 3am. Left at 8am after a little rest. The apartment was old and dingy. The double bedroom contained two campbeds on metal legs. I opened a cupboard and it fell from the wall. The refrigerator was not working and when I pulled it out, looking for a switch, I was assailed by wildlife, the size I rarely see on my travels. The satelitte T.V. was availble on a state of the ark receiver if you purchased tokens from reception. Even at the price there are hundreds of apartments on Tenerife much better. If not for the preposterous photographs, description 'on-line' and Late Rooms 3 keys I would not have booked the accomadation. Feel a bit let down.

We were delighted with our accomodation as we received a free upgrade to 5 star accomodation in the same complex. However, we asked the manager if we could look at the apartment we should have been given at the end of our stay and it was on par with the accomodation we had. In fact, the terrace was actually larger - so we wouldn't have been disappointed. Very clean accomodation and very quiet. We just wanted to relax in a quiet resort and we were very happy. The staff were very helpful. There is a free bus which goes to Las Americas and Los Cristianos and this is needed as the taxi fares are very expensive. Our taxi to the airport cost 27 euros for a 10 minute journey because it was a 'Fiesta' -holiday- that day. We checked the fare before we got into the taxi as well. We also travelled on local buses which were very good - but be careful when you get off as they leave you on the motorway and there are no pavements - so it is pretty dangerous, unless you go to the bus station. We stayed for 5 days and the weather was glorious the first week in January - 25degrees. They charge you 2 euros a day for a sunbed - but we only used it one day. Aslo you are charged for the TV - which we didn't pay in the upgrade and we had 6 english speaking channels. I would recommend for an older couple as it is very quiet. Not for young people who want something more lively and noisy.
