A picturesque path through meadows and fields will lead , after a 10-15 minutes walk , to the lake Kirchberg. The Apartment-Hotel is an ideal starting point for excursions to the nearby mountains. During the summer months you can relax in deck chairs outside , close to the little heated outdoor swimming pool or on the terrace , enjoying the view on the mountain Rettenstein. In the winter the little city will become a sports paradise: more than 200 km of ski slopes , 45 km cross skiing runs , 40 km walking trails , ice skating and trips with horse carriages. The slopes of the famous Kitzbühel area with its well known ski runs like Hanenkamm and the ski safari from Kirchberg to the pass of Thurn , are a paradise for skiers. A night ski slope on the mountain Gaisberg , open from 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. and a toboggan run are about 300 m away. A free ski bus to Kirch berg and Kitzbühel , stops in front of the hotel. With a little extra charge you can go to a nearby hotel enjoying the large outdoor pool , the various saunas , jacuzzi , the fitness studio and solarium.
