Antares Hotel lies in Castelluzzo just before San Vito Lo Capo, one of the most beautiful and important seaside resorts of the Mediterranean, it is placed in an evocative spot at the slope of mount Passo del Lupo, part of Zingaro Nature Reserve at about 900 metres from the seaside, in straight contact with olive trees and the green of the Mediterranean spot. Opened in summer 2005, it is perfect for bathing stays, in the full relax of the peace and quiet for which it was studied. All rooms have a balcony and may have view over the sea, the pool or the mountains of the nature reserve. The available restaurant La Palma Nana, where people can taste the typical Sicilian specialities such as couscous, the famous Couscous Fest takes place in the nearby every year at the end of September, and high quality oenogastronomic dishes. The banqueting-hall may hold 140 people. The terrace of Antares hotel is equipped with a solarium, deckchairs and umbrellas, and a Jacuzzi heated hydro massage pool (to pay extra), perfect for spending a holiday in full relax. On the terrace there are also available binoculars to look at the fauna and flora on the mountains of the nearby Zingaro Nature Reserve and the beautiful coasts of Castelluzzo, Makari, Cofano and San Vito Lo Capo. At about a kilometre from the hotel, there is the free beach of Castelluzzo in sand and rocks. The private beach in San Vito Lo Capo is available for our guests, equipped with deck chairs and beach-umbrellas, reachable by free shuttle bus. The pool lies inside the garden, surrounded by green. Sightseeing possibilities:From Antares hotel it is easy to reach Trapani, the Egadi islands, with Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo, and Erice old medieval village, the white salt pans and the island of Mozia, Segesta, Marsala and at a few km the living crib of Custonaci. The hotel is at 90 km from Palermo airport; following A29 motorway Birgi airport is at 40 km. It takes 20 km to reach the port of Trapani and the embarking for the islands.
