This hotel was excellent, very clean and unbelievable value for money. i stayed in a hotel from a different website in rome the week before and paid a fortune for a terrible place, so was very happy to stay here, very clean, quiet, perfect location and very friendly, cannot recommend this place enough. i loved florence, and when i return, i will stay here without a doubt.

Once we got our bearings after exiting from the main Florence railway station the Hotel Angelica was very easy to find situated in a quiet narrow street close to the railway station. The owner management team was super friendly on arrival and very apologetic at putting my wife and I in a small room due to another guest being ill and had to stay an extra night. Our luggage was moved for us the 2nd day and the new room very spaceous and comfortable. When we left the owners insisted on giving us a discount for the inconvenience - very friendly gesture as we made no complaints. The breakfast was the best of all the hotels with choice of meat, cheeses and jams with fresh croissants, fruit juice, cereals and multiple cups of American or Expresso coffee. The hotel is within walking distance of all the main attractions. A good tip is to know about the booking system for museums and galleries. We found this out after waiting for an hour in the hot sun queuing to see David and wondering why others were walking straight in to the gallery. Phone +39 (0)55 294883 and pay 3 Euros extra a ticket and you can join the elite! Well worth it. Another good tip is the outdoor market close to the hotel which has many outlets selling good quality genuine Italian leather jackets, bags, wallets etc. at very reasonable prices - but bargain hard especially for the jackets!

Hotel is in a great location, very close to the train station (2 min), great connections if you travel around Florence/Tuscany. Owner was very friendly and helpful. There were previous comments about the area around the hotel being rough but I found it ok, didn't have any problems. Would definetly recommend it.

Nice hotel very close to the city and the church of Firence. Good breakfast - not normal in Italia. Nice staff and clean rooms. We would come back at our next time in Firence.

We stayed in the Hotel Angelica with two friends for five nights and we were all delighted with our accommodation. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The location was ideal, walking distance from the train station and close to all the sights. The proprietors of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They recommended several very good restaurants which were also close to the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there ourselves if we are lucky enough to return to Florence

Family of 3 (age 40, 40 & 13). Chose this hotel as it was the North side of the city which was ideal for us to get to the Mugello circuit for the MotoGP (about 45 minutes drive). Excellent small family run hotel, located on the 3rd floor of the building, lift available. Very secure. Excellent welcome by all. The staff gave us quite a few good hints and tips, especially about the parking, which proved invaluable. Excellent breakfast, good choice and included fresh fruit. Will definately use this hotel again.

Giuseppe and Angelina were wonderful to us. They gave us a very spacious, well apointed, comfortable room. The bathroom had a very good shower...probably the best of all the hotels we stayed at on this trip, which took us through Spain & Italy. Their coffee machine was also one of the best! Hotel Angelica is rated 2 stars but it should be higher. It was a wonderful find. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

The warm welcome and hospitality at this very central hotel far outweighed my expectations. The rooms were spotless and as a single traveller I was made to feel very much at home. Nothing was too much trouble for the family (wife, husband and son) who run this small hotel located on the upper floors of building behind the central station. The rooms are compact with excellent bathroom facilities and the breakfast was very generous with a wide range of choices. I plan to visit again!

The hotel is a very easy walk from the airport bus and so very convenient for a late night arrival. The room was very clean. There was not much storage space so unpacking for a longer stay would not have been easy. Great for us for one night.

Webpage indicated availability of Internet Access point in the property. However, this was not available. The owner is apparently still waiting for wireless access to be installed in his property. I could only use the owner's computer onsite when the son is around as no else knew the password to his computer! The son also did not agree to allow me to connect my computer to the internet point. Otherwise, the stay at the B&B was value for money and is recommended.

Our stay at Villa Oriana Relais during January of 2008 was wonderful! Situated in a grove of lemon trees with a breathtaking view of the Bay of Naples, this villa is a must stay. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast and the hospitality was great.
