Best hotel in Myrtle Beach. Best hotel bed ive ever slept in

We stayed overnight on the last leg of our vacation having checked out of a hotel that was awful. This hotel was beautiful , granite countertops, cherry wood cabinets, beautifully appointedm, etc. rooms clean and spacious. The kitchen area was a llittle small in this ione bedroom unit, but basically all that was needed. The fitness room was small, but adequate. The view of the ocean was great; acoustics great, everything wonderful, would definitely stay here again, in fact we already have plans to do so later this year.

New hotel with very nicely appointed rooms, the beds and pillows were so comfy. The rooms were beautiful and the hotel is also the same. Overall the staff including front desk and bellhops were very friendly and helpful. We arrived very early for check-in and was told to check back later and once we checked back in-the computers were down and the lobby was packed with people so we chose to go out to eat and come back at a later time. Overall this hotel exceeds many places I have stayed at previously and definitely would stay again. Note should be made that the pool area is not as elaborate as some other hotels have and the parking deck is located across the street behind a row of buildings. It didn't pose a problem for us but if you're an individual that has problems walking this may be difficult.

My wife and I choose to visit this hotel for a Friday -Sunday weekend get away from the kids. The Anderson was chosen due to favorable reviews from others online, and it's fairly new construction. This was our first trip to Myrtle Beach, and had no clue where to stay. Our goal was to go to the beach, and sit there for three days. Arrival at the Anderson was positive, front desk staff were cheerful, informative, and quick. Our room was an "ocean view king single" It was a spacious room, except the bathroom, which was crowded for two. The kitchen was a great feature! Our balcony featured the ocean, from a side diagonal view, which is common to hotels on the beach. It was a crowded balcony, but perfect for two. Lighting in the room was inadequate without turning all everything just to see. (We are in our thirty's, so age is not a factor in that comment) Anyway, extra towels were delivered quickly, room was clean on arrival (except for the tub, needed a magic eraser my wife says) Each day we went directly to the beach, having bought breakfast items from the store to have each morning. The beach was clean, well life guarded, and a pleasure! The water is clean, waves are strong, and there is plenty to do, just a walk away if you want to rent a boat, wave runner or the like. The only complaint I would have is the following. It is a convienence to have a small restaurant or liquor bar on the premises. The restaurant the hotel aligns itself with is just across the street, named Magnolia's. While we did not order "room service" from them, we did go for lunch on Saturday. What an expensive waste of time. Food took forever, was substandard compared to the price, and the restaurant just felt.."dirty." We would stay at the Anderson again, maybe even bring our kids. Just beware that the pools they picture are smaller than they appear (no matter to those wanting the beach anyways) and guests light fireworks off on the beach at all hours of the night, so sleeping with the slider ope

Above and beyond.. I was not expecting the kind quality and service that my family recieved during our stay. The rooms are spacious and they were very clean. My 3 year old son had a blast in the heated indoor pool. My wife said she enjoyed the spa services and I must say the had her feet looking good. All in all I give this hotel a strong 9 out of 10.

Check-in was slow, the valet service was very far behind, we decided to self-park just to avoid the line. We arrived about 45 minutes prior to check-in (4:00), and our room wasn't ready, so we decided to wait at the pool. The lazy river is two narrow lanes of warm water. The entire pool area was small compared to other hotels we've stayed at in the past. Perfect for small children, but I felt the description was really inaccurate. The "Tiki Bar" is actually a trailer with a skirt around it, and it closes at 6pm promptly. Very disappointed with the description versus reality. The room was ready on time, but it wasn't perfect. Three towels thrown on the rack, (four guests), two face clothes. The tub had a dingy look to it, jacazzi tub or not, I wouldn't soak in it. The room looked clean, had a full kitchen, great balcony, and was overall excellent. Great location, beachfront was clean and not too crowded. Parking was a pain, it was across the street. I would stay here again, but I think I'll do a little more comparsion checking and read the reviews of the hotels and resorts nearby.

The hotel was great - beautifully decorated and great service. The spa inside the hotel was definately a plus. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Seriously, this hotel is the sweetest place I've stayed in Myrtle Beach. The staff, including the front desk guy named X, were helpful in a truly old-fashioned sense of the word. The room was huge, big enough for six, but for the three of us it was enormous. The view was tremendous, the neighborhood was classy enough, the full kitchen and two bathrooms were wonderful. THe only thing I had a problem with was my lady friend wanted to stay an extra night but doing so through a online website wasn't really possible - so we had to get a price from the hotel directly - a little more expensive but still worth it. A truly memorable stay and a great way to spend New Year's Eve. The room service is provided from the restaurant across the street and that was pretty good. The pool is kind of small for a hotel of this size, but with the ocean right there I guess it would be silly to make it bigger. The hot tubs were kind of dirty and could have used a little cleaning.

This hotel was absolutely fabulous! I was apprehensive about staying with small children but it was totally family friendly. The rooms were great with functionality and luxury all rolled into one. Parking was across the street as is case with most of the oceanfront hotels in the area. We will definitely stay here again!

Pools are too small and not very clean. There were far too many people staying in the hotel which made the pool area congested and not relaxing.

The hotel was beautiful (our room was wonderful and had everything we could have wanted) and the people working there were very nice but not very informed about their surroundings. We arrived on Thanksgiving day and they had no idea where we could get something to eat other than the restaurant that is affiliated with the hotel across the street. There was a mini mart down the block which was convenient and several bars/restaurants we found on our own within walking distance (a mile or 2 for us). The spa was very nice and reasonably priced. This hotel is situated in the middle of a long line of hotels (several blocks), not much to do if you need to keep yourself busy. I didn't feel unsafe but there is an entrance that anyone can get in and go right up the elevators without using a room key or passing a front desk. If you're looking for a place to just relax on the beach, I would recommend this hotel. But if you need to be entertained, there's not much in the immediate area.

Stayed in both the one bedroom and two bedroom suite oceanfront...both rooms were clean and i have nothing to complain about. both rooms had their own kitchen, dishwasher and all things supplied. has to be one of the best hotels in myrtle beach.

Everything was beautiful. Parking across the street was a slight inconvenience, but looks like a parking might be in progress. The loading/unloading zone was pretty helpful. Clay, the Bellhop was very nice, and knowledgeable. All other staff members seemed really nice. It would be great if paper towels were provided in the units, but that's a minor setback. Overall, we loved this place, and definitely plan on going back. Great view, and check in/out was a breeze.

The room was so much more than I had expected. We stayed in a one bedroom with two double beds. The living room had a pull out couch and a murphy bed. The beds and pillows were fantastic. Well supplied kitchenette with dishwasher. The bathroom was awesome and had a wonderful, large jacuzzi tub. The room was clean, the whole place was clean. We loved the pool area. Always a place to sit. If you want to be in the sun all day, pick a spot on the right side. We would stay again, in fact would love to go back right away.

Had a wonderful time. Went for the fourth of July. Room was clean. Kitchen was nice. Balcony was a bit small but we fit okay. It was quiet and peaceful, except that the air conditioiner was noisy. The staff was nice to put our dishes away out of the washer, and I think they even washed a few. However, I like to tend to my own dishes. A closer parking garage would have been nice - we both have bad knees. Overall we had a great time. The beach was great as usual. We usually don't use pools or hot tubs during the busy season, so can't comment on those. They looked nice though.

The rooms were nice and comfortable. Beautiful view. Everyone there was very helpful. The beach is very nice infront of hotel. I have stayed in other condos and they were a little more spacious but it was fine for 2 people. We stayed in a one bedroom condo. It was convienient to alot of different attractions. The only thing that could be a pain was the parking was across the street a little ways. They had just set up a new internet system also that seemed a expensive to me, 30 cents a minute or 50 cents a page. It also charged my credit card and the computer shut down as soon as I turned it on.

The balcony was large and spacious as well as the 2 bedroom suite. The carpet had some small stains and a frying pan had eggs left in it and dirty silverware. When I called the front desk they said because I booked on orbitz they could not discount my room but said they would have someone come with clean items and gave me free breakfast across the street. The housekeeping fellow brought me a clean pan and 4 forks and said that was all they had clean at the time. Also, the hot water did not work in the master bedroom, the pool was rather dirty but this was forth of July weekend and a lot of kids were there. The hotel was very pretty, but check-in took 20 minutes or more. I had a good time but paid alot of money and expected a little cleaner room and better service for it, instead of being told, "We can only do this for you because you booked on Orbitz". I booked on Orbitz because it is fast and easy and no hassel.

This hotel is simply the best. It's in a great location that is not too far from restaurant row and not too far from the action. It is definetly worth the money. Me and my girlfriend just visited for the 4th and had a great time. The layout and comfort of the rooms are the best hands down!
