We had a lovely stay at the resort last month. We had a fantastic time; their rooms are beautiful and spacious, the spa was warm and relaxing and Debbie's bubbly, honest personality and excellent hospitality was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be recommending the Anchorage.

They used to be great and now they have new management and they are VERY money hungary the room are not cleaned very well and there are NO extra's the location is miles away from Taupo

The hotel room was very cold. There was a wall radiator, but it was not enough to warm up the room. It was so cold that my daughter woke up in the middle of the night and jumped into my bed to keep warm. The temperature probably seldom dropped down to 3C, but it would have been nice to have warmer bedding and extra radiators. The hotel is located in front of the lake which is beautiful.
