This motel is a dump! The rug was grimy and dank, the walls dark paneling, and I could hear the person in the next room snoring. The area where the ice machine is located next to the office has a step down that is easy to miss as you come out of the shade into the light--be careful! Note: 14 day cancellation policy should tell you something about this low-priced motel.

To be able to stay in Bar Harbor within walking distance of marina, shops and restaurants was important. I choose the cheapest hotel we could find and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel and rooms were older, but we were just sleeping there. They did have air conditioning which was a must. Everything we needed was not more than 5 blocks. A laundromat around the corner and they were able to recommend some tasty restaurants with a discount by showing our key.
