What are your breakfast options?

We offer a range of breakfasts including continental, full American breakfast and a French breakfast. All breakfasts are served in the guest's rooms.

What transport is available to get around?

There are a couple of companies in town that provide transport and tours (www.coromandeldiscovery.co.nz) is the main one. There is no taxi service as such, but in the near future we will have an Anchor Lodge Tuk Tuk service for transport to the major attractions. There are two rental car companies supplying car/vans in town.

What can I do nearby?

Coromandel has two main pubs/bars. The closest is approximately 300 metres away and the second 400 metres. They have live bands at each every weekend, and DJ's on alternating nights. Both also have pool tables and garden bars. Coromandel also boasts some of the best beaches in NZ, including New Chum's Beach, Whangapoua Beach, Waitete Bay, Cathedral Cove and Hot Water beach, to name a few.

Do you have internet?

We do have wireless internet here at Anchor Lodge. At this stage it does attract a small fee of $10 per 24 hours. The wireless option is only available for motel guests though. We also have a small backpacker lodge. There is 24 hour internet access via two desktop computers in the lodge computer room. The internet is charged per hour.

Do you provide parking?

For clients that bring their own transport we have plenty of off street parking (all free of charge).
