Do not try to drive to this hotel with a GPS. The many narrow lanes make it a nightmare. We pulled up in front of the hotel frustrated with a flat tyre. At the check in the receptionist Kathy, could see we were frustrated and tired. She immediately took control. As we checked into a very nice clean room she contacted the hire car company. The room did not have much space around the double bed but as we were only staying one night it was not a problem. The bathroom was clean and had enough toiletries. Only a short walk to restaurents, transport to Alhambra and shops. Kathy recommended a Tapas bar around the corner which was excellent. Africa (yes the evening shift receptionist was named Africa) carried on the excellent work that Kathy started. A replacement car was waiting for us next morning. Definitely will stay there again.

Great hotel. The most helpful desk personnel we encountered during our trip. Near restaurants, transportation and areas of interest in Granada.

Africa, main desk clerk was very, very helpful. This ability to connect with clients makes everything good at a hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet. Bathroom was large and included a tub. This is a luxury for some. Access to all sights quite good. I would recommend this hotel to friends and would stay here again. It more than met my expectations.

The hotel is in an excellent location right in the heart of Granada and walking distance to all the major sights. Also there are lots of small shops in the same block: food, wine, etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Kathy is wonderful and can get you anywhere. I did not have a reservation for the Alhambra and could not get one online. As a last ditch effort I called the hotel a few days before my arrival and they got a ticket for me. It was waiting for me as when I arrived.

Location is everything at this hotel, particularly during a very busy Holy Week in Spain. A short hike was necessary because of processionals during the week and closure of major streets in the area. The desk clerk/concierge/chief advisor is a delightful lady from Iowa named Kathy. Her knowledge and advice was invaluable. The breakfast was a bit scanty, but other hotel services were good. Yes, I would stay there again.

Thanks to one of the staff, señora Cathy, we were given better information than from the tourist office and were able to save time and money. Her recommendations were very useful!

The hotel is centrally located and it is very convenient to go to Alhambra. The Staff is unexpectedly good at English and provides very useful information and advices. In fact, I found they are more informative and helfpful than those people in the Tourist Information Centre. However, there was only one complain was that the air-conditioner was quite noisy. In fact, I had to turn it down in order to get a good sleep. Luckily it was not unbearable after turning off the air-con. Overall, We are very happy to stay in this hotel.

The location of this hotel is outstanding. We were there during May Day cellebrations and it was very noisy outside the hotel. We had a car and the hotel has no parking and they sent us to a parking deck which was full because of the holiday. We wasted a lot of time just driving to the hotel and to and from the parking deck. Had to get a Taxi to follow to the hotel. Strongly advise that if you are driving, leave car at the airport and take a taxi. You don't need a car in the city. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was reasonable and served in a pretty setting

The reception staff provided excellent helpful friendly service and she spoke very good English - a rare thing in Spain. The room was terribly small though, felt claustrophobic. Location was excellent - interesting sightseeing places almost at doorstep.

The outside looked non-appealing, the rooms were very basic but clean and spacious. The location was great. Air conditioning temperature was set to 23 degrees and it was almost impossible to change it since the remote was locked in a case on the wall.

It would be helpful if newcomers were aware that hotels are listed on signposts on main thoroughfares but that negotiating access will be down narrow one-way streets. A map of these streets including priority should be on the website of the hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel staffs were very knowledgable about the Alhambra site. They even helped us made reservations for the palace. The location was great and close to public transportation. We will definately stayed there again!
