Place is beautiful, but be careful of all the fees that are not pointed out to you. There is tax for parking if you believe it. If you happen to put your tv on to a movie channel you will be charged for it whether it was a mistake or not. Parking can be hard to get during summer months. Also make sure they have your reservations as I showed up and they had given my room to someone else and I had confirmed my reservation. I was sent to another hotel and they were to pay for all expenses but if you believe it I was charged for the room. So I had to fix all that on top of all that I had dealt with.

Not a good place to stay if you are not into surprises...I had reserved a room in June and when I arrived there was no room. (I had sent them a note prior to my arrival to confirm the stay). I was sent at 12 midnite to another hotel in a cab to be all paid for by them. When I got home to my surprise I checked my credit card acct and I was billed for other hotel. There are many surprises when staying there. You are billed parking tax, for every call anywhere (1.00 per call) and if you happen to make a mistake on your tv you will be billed for a movie or two... $12.99 per movie. There is no free internet access and front desk is very unsure of themselves. No complimentary breakfast...hard to believe when you have to pay 10.00 per day for parking. The restaurant is very limited in meal choices. Drinks are very expensive $7.00 a piece. So if you are needing a reasonably priced family vacation this is not the place to go. Look for deals with free calls, breakfasts, laundry, internet and of course parking. There are hotels there that offer that. What a way to go see Disneyland...and spend your vacation.

After seeing the reviews, I decided to stay in this hotel - to much of my disappointment. I don't think this hotel deserves 4 stars. I would rate it 2 to 2 1/2 max. I was given double two beds and the space in the room is extremely cramped. You can only get down from the one side of the bed. Not sure who gave the idea of having wash basin outside of the bath room. Can't turn on the light without waking others up. The room door is straight facing the stairs and that location is highly inconvenient. The air-conditioner makes hell of a noise every time it starts and stops which kept waking all of us. Final complaint, they never replenish the coffee for the second day. The good things are the location and a very decent restaurant.

Separate room for child to sleep in. How the air conditioning worked. In order to keep the room with the bed for my daughter cool we had to leave the door open so the air would circulate. Overall this hotel was great for the three of us. It was nice having a separate sleeping area for our daughter, but the layout was kind of poor. There should be a way to cool off the extra room without having to leave the door wide open for the AC to circulate through. The room size was a little crowded, but for the price we paid and the location it was just fine. We would stay again if the need was there.

The hotel was in the perfect location, you couldn't get any closer to Disneyland without staying at a Disney hotel. My teenager had a book of all things go missing however and when we contacted the hotel within a week of returning home the customer service left a lot to be desired. Multiple messages were left for management without ANY return calls, we were only able to speak to housekeeping who claimed the book was found the day we left in a place it could not have possibly have been. They wanted more than the book was worth to ship it back to us, so we will be buying another book... I understand things happen, it just would have been nice for somebody in management to decide that one of their guests was valued enough to call back.

Very bad! Do not stay here! There is spray paint graffeti on the walls outside of the hotel. There are bars on the windows. The tub was dirty. And this is definitely a MOTEL, not HOTEL. Your hotel door faces the street!!! Not safe at all!

My family and I recently stayed at the Anabella hotel for three nights. Our room was in the San Miguel building on the bottom level (a Casita Suite, as it was called). This room had a queen sized bed in the main room, a small bathroom connected to a closet with mirror door, and an adjacent room with a daybed. The smaller room was much smaller than I envisioned, but suited our needs. The small love-seat in front of the bed was itself a sofa bed, which we discovered entirely by accident, but was not used for that purpose. The floors are hard wood, giving the entire room a warm feeling. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and helpful (I worked with XYZ at the front desk, who was a delight) and later received instructions from gentleman at the concierge desk, who was also very pleasant. The buildings are Spanish in style and the grounds are well groomed. We did not use the Tangerine Grill or the pool, but saw many people enjoying both during our stay. My hubby used the workout facilities and said he was pleased that they had free weights, but was a bit disappointed by the Elliptical trainer (something about the style of it bothered his knees). This could be a result of age or too much use, but I'm sure most people staying wouldn't be there to work out anyway. There is also a *private* pool for adult use. Disneyland is a very short walk away. Constructive criticisms? The hardwood floors could have used more care (don't walk barefoot. They are terribly dusty!) and opt for a larger room if you don't like feeling cramped. The space is not as it appears on their site. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The water pressure was nice. Creaky bed, being charged for WiFi. Felt overpriced for what it was. The walls are thin. Was very noisy around us. The bed was extremely squeaky, I could barely move without waking up my partner. WiFi was on a charge basis which I think should be included in a nicer hotel. Unless big changes happen I will never stay there again when we go to Disneyland.

I was booked for 7 nights. I arrived at 3:15 and was told to come back in 45 minutes for check in. We had 2 queen beds. 1 of the beds was thoroughly abused, I mean it had a dent on the the right side of it that seemed like a 1500lb man slept there. We had to use one of the big decorative pillows to boost it back up so we wouldn't fall off that side. Terrible. The other bed was just fine. and we(adults) traded off between it and the sunkin one. There was a total of 6 sleeping pillows and ONE of them was down. First 2 nights we parked in our assigned location just fine.. After that, everytime we got in for the evening, there was no where to park. I would have to wait at my window till someone left and then rush down to get the spot. You are supposed to display a parking paper in your dashboard and I counted more than 10 cars a night that were in our location that didnt have the paper in the dash.. I went to the front desk and was told "sorry". Will never stay there again.

The junior suite was perfect for us traveling with our almost 3 year old. Older TV's. Hotel worked out perfectly. The small side bedroom in the junior suite was perfect for our toddler. It was also only about 10-15 walk to Disneyland.

Negatives: The in room fridge and freezer was so small it was almost unusable. We had planned on freezing some water bottles to take to Disneyland. We ended up using our cooler for milk, water and snacks. The parking is 11.50 per day. There are few spots and they are so close together that even the mini-van was a tight fit. If you have a full sized vehicle on each side you can barely open your side doors. Positives: I thought the price was fair for the room quality. We paid about 150.00 per night after tax and fees for a two room suit that slept 5 comfortably. The hotel is about 1/2 mile from Downtown Disney. It wasn't a bad walk at all, even for our 7 year old. There are three places to dine withing walking distance (four blocks). We did not spend much time in the room since we were at Disneyland for three days and nights. I would stay in this hotel again for a similar trip in the future.

This is a pretty nice hotel with a spanish mission theme. We had a club anabella room which was large enough for a family. The sheets and room were clean, the only qualms I had with the room was the bathroom. The shower was clogged so when you would take a shower, the water would fill the tub up to your ankles. It would only drain after a few minutes of leaving the water off. Another down point was that the toilet seat covers white paint was chipping and a bit warped looking. Other than that it is a nice place and very quiet and peaceful. The front desk is really nice as well. Check in time isn't until 4pm so when we arrived at 9AM they were nice enough to let us sign all the paper work and buy our parking permit. We gave them our phone number and they said that they would call us once a room was available. We went out to have breakfast at a place nearby and an hour later our room was ready.

It's a 10 minute walk to Disneyland and the staff is top notch. A microwave would be a nice addition. We would stay there again. The Disneyland hotels are alot closer to the park but alot more money. Flew into John Wayne (SNA)Orange County Airport and shuttled to hotel. Nice!!! :-)

Location, andvery nice bed. No microwave to reheat 100 dollar dinner. I called ahead to check on my room and was told I would not have the room I reserved because they didn't show that I had an upgraded room which it stated on Priceline(king size bed and flat screen). Fortunately after I sounded upset they went ahead and did give me the room I originally paid for. Besides that they charged me 20 dollars for parking which I didn't know anything about and no microwave in my room.
