Alexander’s self-catered apartments have the bed and breakfast feel , as a home away from home and offers value for money. All accommodations are furnished and upholstered , and the accommodations have a fully equipped kitchen/kitchenette as well as bed linens and towels which are provided. The accommodations are located in characteristic Amsterdam housing , including flights of stairs (no elevator). These apartments are the ‘real thing’ where Amsterdam inhabitants live. Also a few ground floor studio's and apartments are available. In most cases the apartments are not luxurious but cozy and convenient , at a 2-star level. Also luxury apartments listed , some with a canal view. The property offer free wireless Internet connection as well as bicycle rental and boat rental. Serviced apartments are available on request. Please note: - Your credit card details (or a bank transfer within 48 hours) are required to guarantee your booking up to your arrival at Amsterdam Apartments Alexanders. 20% of the total amount of your booking will be charged upon booking (with a minimum of 1 night). In case of no-show or cancellation upon arrival &44 a second night will be charged. - This is a strictly non-smoking apartment service! - Payment upon arrival: cash or credit card (Payment by credit card will be charged an extra of 4 %); - Upfront invoicing and payment by bank transfer before arrival is possible; - Late arrival policy: € 25.00 after 21:00 hours and €25.00 extra for every single hour after midnight (there is no 24-hour reception desk); - Silence in the house after midnight. Only one homecoming allowed after midnight. After booking: Please check your e-mail for a confirmation of Alexander's and check at which of the locations you have been booked. This is also the place where you will be expected to check-in. In this mail you will also find a detailed route description by public or private transport. Communicate your expected time of arrival please with your booking or at least 24 hours before arrival.
