Orbitz did not indicate on their website that breakfast was extra (10 Euros). The safety deposit box and hair dryer were also not included. We stayed 2 nights to tour Amsterdam. It was not a good deal because of the extras we had to pay. This is the worst 2-star room we ever stayed in all our travels. If I had known the extras were not included, we would have paid more for a better room at this hotel.

a good clean place to stay . its on the other side of the bay the ferry is free and leaves every 30mins. the ferry is only 100m from the main train station. it can be a bit of a hassle but once you get used to its very enjoyable. ps if you suffer from motion sickness you may need to reconsider. i would stay there again 3.5 out of 5. you leave with a good feeling.

Great place for the price. The Red Light District is crazy like mardi grass but great during the day. The ride is short to the city and forget the breakfast add on. Bathrooms are not for double wides. I would stay again. Twin beds only. It was over booked because it is so popular. It is hard to find an inexpensive hotel that is not in the Red Light District. Try to find something better and let me know.

The Botel is in a good location with a free ferry over to the train station which is in the central part of the city. Breakfast (included) is good, but I think they should offer fruit with it. The rooms are small, but so are most European hotel rooms. The biggest problem I had while staying there was the noise from the gangplank which was right next to my window. I think the other side might be quieter. All in all, the stay was a nice one.

Tiny does not begin to describe the room. No A/C, a tiny little tv with very bad reception (not that we went there to watch tv...)When I read about the hotel it said it included the breakfast. NOT!!!! 10 Euros per person!!The taxi drive to the airport was 60 Euros from there. You could actually go across on the free ferry and take the train but with all the luggage...It[ up to the passenger. I, personally, will not stay there ever again, especially when breakfast was supposed to be included.

The hotel has been moved to the other side of the bay and we had to take ferry there. Not a problem, they come quite often. The hotel is basic and has very thin walls. It gets noisy at night and early in the morning, especially if your room is below the restaurant! Breakfast was very good - great selection!

Nice hotel, the location is not bad very close to the central station, but you need to take a ferry boat to the hotel, the ferries are available all the time and free of charge. The breakfast is pretty good, the staff are very helpful, rooms have very small bathroom. Overall the hotel is good for the price.

you real feel at home and you wont even notice the distance & location due to the efficient shuttle ferry and bus in the early hours.if we are to go back to amsterdam we know botel is the place...

the botel has moved its location and is now situated in a shipping yard, its got nothing around it and you must catch a ferry to it, these run every 30 minutes but it is just an inconvenience, the rooms were better than i expected and they were clean. i would go back there simply because the other hotels in amsterdam centre are meant to be worse and we did have a double bed ( not two singles pushed together) if it wasn't for the location it would be a good but not luxury by any means hotel.
