we needed a room for family weekend at Iowa state. the americInn was fine. I appreciated the breakfast buffet, but the coffee needed some improvement. we had plenty of hot water and towels, i just wish the towels were bigger to cover my expanding girth.

Friendly staff. Filthy carpet; it needed to be shampooed. It was a business trip, but I was not traveling solo. I found out that if I had booked direct with the hotel. I could have saved money.

I really enjoyed my overnight stay. The hotel was in a quiet part of town yet close to the highway. The accommodations were very adequate and comfortable. The continental breakfast had ample selections and the coffee was hot.

Free continental breakfast. There was food with ants on it under the bed. It's okay for just a sleeping place and wouldn't want to "hang around all day " in the hotel- cleanliness of room was to be desired- the beds were extremely comfortable and so were the four pillows on each bed.

The lobby and room furnishings were very welcoming and homey. The continental breakfast selections were great! Would have like to have a small in-room refrigerator.
