I only booked the hotel because I needed somewhere cheap to stay in order to cut out an early morning drive in rush hour traffic and it certainly helped with that. The one guy that worked there wasn't really accommodating but he wasn't bad either. There was a free continental breakfast advertised but all it was was coffee and prepackaged muffins and danishes. The room was clean and large, just very ugly. At 5' 5" I had to duck down to use the shower which is completely unnecessary. All and all, I got what I wanted out of it, but even in the same circumstances would maybe try to find somewhere else to stay.

We stayed here with a group attending Rancho Capistrano and will definitely be back. Very close to Freeways, Beach, and Beautiful Rooms. We stayed at upscale properties whose rooms aren't quite as nice.

I could not give this hotel any positives, other than the area outside our 2nd floor room. Shades were broken. Cleaning needed to be more complete. We heard traffic and trains overnight. We were disappointed. Continental breakfast was coffee and a pre-packaged muffin.

It was clean and spacious. I had to call for missing supplies and for maintenance. Also door key was not programmed prior to arrival. We had to go back down to get key. Thick walls to block out noise of close traffic and guests in neighboring rooms. Room was easy to access and roomy and spacious.

When they say close to freeways they aren't kidding. I5 out the bedroom window and Hwy73 across the street. Rooms were very small and the paint fumes were awful. Noise level was deafening especially when Amtrak went by at 80mph. Don't bother staying here. Drive a little further.

Says in two places on the internet that there is an outdoor pool however there is NO pool here. Located between two fast food restaurants with noisy drive-thru and there is a train that goes buy overhead. There were people sleeping in their car in the parking garage one night! Our room was missing the iron. We got one from the front desk that had rust on it and water leaked out the top. Wore a dirty shirt instead of risking ruining my good shirt with that iron. The "non-smoking" room smelled like smoke.

Nothing really. Very old furniture, phone didn't work, only 1 pillow each bed. It was right on the freeway and very noisy, only 1 pillow each, old pillows at that mattress was marginal. All the furniture was very old and beat up. Phone didn't work at all - no dial tone. Very disappointed.

Room was nicely arranged. Hotel internet did not work. Photo of hotel is so very cropped so it doesn't show the giant freeway overpass directly overhead or the train tracks directly behind that woke us up repeatedly throughout the night. Not close to the mission at all. Hotel Wi-Fi didn't work and when front desk was called they only offered an 800 tech support number. And using the term "continental breakfast" was a complete stretch. Try Svenhard's crappy plastic-wrapped fast food Danishes and a pamper of coffee with powdered creamer. That's it. Total crap experience. Oh, and by the way, it was the first night of our honeymoon.
