Welcome to the newly built/renovated, AAA approved, Americas Best Value Inn and Suites in beautiful Healdsburg, CA. Planning a weekend getaway in the wine country.. You have found the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. We are located in the heart of wine country in Healdsburg California, just 60 minutes north of San Francisco along Hwy 101. Our property is minutes from more than 50 wineries where wine tasting occurs year round. We are also just two blocks from the historical Healdsburg Square. Our Inn and Suites offers a total of 36 guest rooms, 26 of which are newly constructed and 10 have been completely renovated. Our new rooms were just completed as of August 1st, 2007. We have single room units as well as two room suites, some of which consists of in room jacuzzi. All rooms including microwave, mini-fridge, workstation desk, high speed Internet, color TV, AM/FM clock radio, free local calls, hairdryer, iron and board, coffee machines and more. Additional amenities include free expanded continental breakfast, outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi and an exercise facility. Parking is free for our guests. America's Best Value Inn could be mistaken for any number of other chain hotels - it had a comfortable room and cozy accommodations, and at the time of stay was absolutely brand new. The smell of fresh carpet and paint hung in the air, and the plastic wraps still clung to the lampshades. All in all, as a room it was a decent value for the area, but was located a good mile from downtown Healdsburg. The continental breakfast was also disappointing - water flavored coffee and flacid waffles.

Clean room, comfy bed, good shower and walking distance to downtown. No wine glasses available at the desk (it's wine country!). Great if you don't need a lot of amenities. All the basics were available and in great condition. Great beds/bedding, good shower pressure, room was clean. We walked to town with our baby which is a real plus - one of the only budget places in town so close to town.

Excellent value in a very convenient location. The front desk staff were very courteous. Room was small but comfortable. Could have used better sound proofing, but it was tolerable.

The service is terrible. They actually asked us if we need a room with a door that locks! Apparently, they had one room with a broken lock, and were planning to put someone in it anyway.We had pre-paid for 2 rooms, but they had us down for one. It took 10 minutes of arguing with them to straighten that out.In the morning, I was also treated to watching one of the owners micromanaging a guy trying to make waffles at their complementary waffle machine.The facilities are perfectly adequate, if a bit overpriced. If they can sort out the management problems, this would be a fine place to stay.
