This was a last minute booking for me, and I was looking for the best price but still close enough to drive to the Canyon. The room was decent, it served it's purpose, a place to cool down, shower, and sleep. Although the room smelled like an old-folks' home, I sprayed some of my cologne to make it bearable to sleep. Also, don't hangout in the front desk around dinner time cause front desk staff will rush you out.

The cost is the same for a much better hotel right down the road! The breakfast is just small donuts. Our key would not work when we came back from a long day and the lady had to open the door with a key. I was too tired to worry about it. The room did have a smell. I regret not reading the previous reviews before I made reservations.

Just looking for somewhere to stay before hiking the canyon. I am driving up from Phoenix. Overall the hotel was fine. Sure, I have stayed in some 5 star hotels, this isnt one of them. But if you are looking for something close to the Grand Canyon and Cheap. This is is. Now the staff was not friendly at all. But at this rate, what do you expect. It worked. The next morning I found closer and cheaper places. I would call them first next time, but if they were full, I would stay here.

Mold in the bathrooms. Rooms way too small for two people. Breakfast was a dounut. Would'nt clean the rooms.

America's Best Value Inn is just exactly that. It's older and they have tried to fix it up with some success. Don't expect much from the hot tub - that's exactly what it is a hot tub. No motion! The pool was freezing cold so it was not an option. The room was small but comfortable. It had a tiny refrigerator but NO COFFEE POT. When I reported the light in the bathroom blew out it was promptly fixed. Breakfast consisted of miniature donuts, sliced pound cake and coffee. I would recommend this motel based on quick service, cleanliness and friendliness and of course a good price!

The room was clean. Pillows need replacing. All lumpy and flat. Back hurt next morning. Continental breakfast is only Hostess Mini donuts and coffee. No clock in room. Cold water nob on sink broken. Had to turn off underneath sink. Musty smelling too.

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, this is it. Nothing amazing, but it was cheap and less than an hour away from the Grand Canyon.

Worst ever. TV, heater, toilet all broken. Staff rude and didn't care about the horrid state of the room. Full breakfast was a Hostess donut. Rooms were filthy in every since of the word.
Date of Stay:
April, 2007
The room was clean, with good maid service, within walking distance of historical buildings on Route 66.
