America's Best Value Inn was exactly that, you get the Best Value for what you pay. I shouldn't have expected much for what I paid but just be aware of that going into the situation. The outlets in the bathroom area did not work, there were cigarette burns on the sheets even though it was a non-smoking room and the maid service was okay the first day when we left early for our day's adventures but the next day we had a late start and just happened to be there when they came to clean the room. That day they did a rush job and only cleaned half the room. For some reason, after that day, they never completed the job! This is a hotel I recommend to stay at if you don't intend to spend much time in the hotel room.

Friendly front desk person. Equivalent to an old motel 6. Old, cramped, deteriorating neighborhood. Worn carpet but good mattress.

i have been coming to houston business and i always make a reservation americas b.v. because they have 5 typeroom regualr which is cheap mini suit and full suit i always get full suit because have separate bedroom and i love to seat living room, to have my coffe in morningoveral these hotel is good deal.

This hotel is on the north-east side of the Houston beltway, and is in a convenient location to get to the Galleria (15 minutes), Downtown (25 minutes), etc. It is your standard mid-price hotel - doors go to the outside. There is a basic breakfast (cereal, muffins, waffles, coffee, etc.). No wireless access in the rooms, but there is a computer in the lobby area with internet access that anyone can use. The bathroom is clean with a separate vanity area. It's clean enough, comfortable, not too loud, and is a good option in this price range.

Free local calls. Free internet service. Hair dryer didn't work. Cloth shower curtain didn't work, etc. Old Days Inn was being worked on. Long way to go.

i wont come again, the picture is not like it is, the bedroom's floor carpet is too dirty, the pool empty, overall the rooms are dirty, service bad, breakfast also bad, tha pool empty, is more like a cheap motel anr too expensive for that. i wont go back ever

The Americas Best Value was fairly comfortable. I like that they have microwaves and small refrigerators in the rooms. The rooms are clean and the upkeep on the hotel looks good. The continental breakfast is decent too. I like that they have wi-fi.

Had Borden orange juice for breakfast. Run down. When checking in, person implied location not safe. Makes copy of all drivers licenses because so many people want room keys; that's how they tell if they're actually the person in the room.Room layout nice: half wall separates loveseat sitting area from bedroom. TV halfway between two rooms. Has mini-fridge and microwave. Tape around door mechanism both inside and out. Torn wall paper in places.

There were several things missing. I specifically asked for Double occupancy and there was one SYTROFOAM CUP for the morning coffee. The provided blow dryer did not work (Thank Goodness I brought my own. The toilet paper was almost out. AND there was no kleenex tissues. Started out as a great stay, but kinda fizzled. Also, the pool....it was drained.

Spacious room with fridge and microwave The room smelled. The AC was so loud we couldn't sleep. Seems like we were in an airplane. I wouldn't stay there again. Old hotel, stinky room, super loud AC unit. Sounded like we were in an airplane! Couldn't sleep much.For longer winter stays, people might like the refrigerator and microwave in the room.Overpriced for the quality.

Overall, this is a good hotel. I found the staff to be helpful and kind. The room was large with sofa,coffee table,desk & office chair as you enter; an arched-partial wall separated it from the kingsize bed. Fridge and micro worked well and most of the bathroom had been remodeled (I especially liked the arcshower rod). It was ok as far as cleanliness, and the bed was comfortable. It is right on the frontage rd, but noise wasn't a problem. There is a Mc D's one bldg over and a Starbucks a block away. I felt safe doing my 2 mile walk in the residential area a block away.

Easy to get to and very friendly owners nothing it was great Very clean rooms , nice pool with a 2 ft deep childrens pool. 30 minutes from Astroworld, Very nice hotel staff.

No bells and whistles, but great for the price. Much better than I'd expected actually. Had refrig and microwave in the room, spotless. Starbucks across the freeway. Have recommended it to many people since I visited last week. Rave reviews for value for the money.

The room is very nice and spacious, clean and a great value. The person at the front desk was rude and very inconsiderate.

Nothing. The room was not clean, the bath stunk. I would not reccommend a stay at this hotel. First, the room only has a shower which was not clean. The furnishings were old and the safety factor seemed uncertain.
