2 beds. Broken down pool. When we got there I told them that I was thoroghly disgusted that there was no pool. It looked like it hadn't ever been filled this year!

This is one of those motels in which each room has a door to the outside, which tends to seem less safe. But in Emmetsburg, IA, you're pretty safe. Staff/owner was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Pool was outdoors and seemed as clean as it could be for an outdoor pool. Breakfast was minimal, but it was nice that they had something. Room was fairly roomy and quite clean. Beds were bouncy--great for the kids' amusement, but not so much for sleeping.

Location with easy access to Interstate and restaurants. Hotel was in transition between Brands and the rooms needed updating. Rooms were musty and moldy smelling as was evidenced by visible mold on furnacing.
