The hotel was clean. No Wi-Fi as promised (free or otherwise), cramped andtub drain broken.

The room was comfortable, but the furnishings were old. We had no towels at first, and had to ask for a remote for the TV, which could not display NBC, CBS, or ABC The pay phone in the lobby was out of order. The internet signal was very weak, so we had to go to the lobby each day. It would have been very nice if they had been able to provide a shuttle to O'Hare airport. The free daily breakfast was very nice, and the staff was very helpful, even printing out bus schedules for us. The restaurant next door was quite good.

Room was dirty including the sheets. Door lock was broken off. Curtains barely hanging due to missing hooks. Not what we expected for a discounted 91.99 per night. They had no other vacancies and could not move us to another room. It was 11:00 PM on a Saturday night with no vacancies anywhere. The desk clerk was kind enough to make several phone calls and found us another room at a Hotel near the airport. We finally got to bed at 1:00 AM. Our total bill was 249.00 for 1 night. The only nice thing about this place was the clerk was kind enough to make several calls to find us another room. I highly recommend that you not stay here.

The staff was friendly. The room had an odor and the bathroom needed major renovation. The public space and free continental breakfast was great. The staff was friendly, but the room smelled and the bathroom especially and the room in general needed a major renovation. Also no WiFi throughout the hotel and the room wasn't equipped with enough power outlets in the appropriate places for PCs and cell phone chargers for the modern traveler.

In all my years of traveling, never have we experience such a poor quality motel and services. The rooms are not clean, musky smelling, inoperable lights. Hardly any amenities such as towels. No coffee cups (foam) for coffee maker, we had to use water glass. The front desk hardly answers your calls in a reasonable amount of time. There were a lot of vagrant type people staying in the rooms and were outside drinking and partying. The police were always coming through the lots. We changed rooms and it still wasn't satisfactory. My fair warning to any travelers, THINK TWICE before staying at this property. Pay more somewhere else and feel safer and at least be treated better.

The dirtiest place I have ever seen. 6 rooms and not a clean one in the bunch. Left without a stay. Traveler beware, spend the to stay somewhere else, or sleep in your car

Front desk guy was really nice, and I really liked leaving. The door looked like someone had broken in before. I did not feel safe at all; thank goodness I was not alone. The door looked like someone had broken in or tried to in the past. I think there were people living in the hotel, including right next to us, where we heard strange noises coming through the walls. The room was not clean; there was food on the walls. There was food on the floor. Beside lamp was burnt out. The panel on the hotel phone wasn't even for the hotel we were in which became a problem when needed to let delivery drivers know where we were located. There was barely a toilet paper in our bathroom, 2 almost finished rolls. No coffee for the coffee pot....But hey, with the soap, by the tub there was a feminine hygiene product. I've never seen a hotel giving those away. Totally strange. We were thankful that there was no one in our room when we got back from our event that night. It was not comfy, clean or safe and those things beat out cheap any day.

It was the worst Days Inn I've ever stayed at. Had to change rooms because the window wouldn't lock, lights, & TV wouldn't work; The hotel room appeared to be clean, but very unappealing. Bathroom did have moldy areas on the walls near the ceiling. It was definitely just a place to sleep during my business trip, but not to relax & enjoy. I was very disappointed with the overall quality & service, and it was NOT worth the price I paid. Would not recommend & wouldn't stay again

Our room was a smoking room (all of Chicago is non-smoking.) I did not feel safe here. There were parties in rooms close to us. We requested a non-smoking room and were told they only had smoking. Then after check-in and while we were deciding to move to another hotel, they suddenly came up with one. Since Chicago is a smoke free city I would think the hotels would have cleaned up a bit, I have been in nursing homes that smelled better.

The room given to us didn't have working electricity or hot water. They switched us to another room, which was smaller and didn't have the amenites we had requested, and didn't want to adjust the price. We left. I wouldn't set foot in there again unless you carried me in DEAD.

Too far from any good attractions. Graffiti all over, room doors kicked in. I would never again stay at this place! It was my worst experience ever in a motel. I may never stay at a days in again either. Don't waste your time with this dump!

This is a hotel that has fallen into a state of disrepair -- not only are the rooms dirty but the walls are thin, meaning that you can hear all the street noise (even from the back) and the other guests partying in the parking lot and the sidewalks. "

Nothing. Everything. This was the worst stay I've ever had in a hotel. There was used soap with hair on it in the bathroom upon arrival. I had to take fresh unopened soap from the hotel down the street. My room was never cleaned once while I was there. I got fleas bites from the bed and I saw cockroaches in the room. It was disgusting!

They were kind enough to provide us breakfast after it was over. There were not enough towels or shampoos for 4 people in the bathroom. It was below my expectation and the room did not smell fresh.

Desk staff accommodated our wish to change rooms - the first smelled really bad. The first room smelled bad. The second had recently undergone some remodeling and wasn't really ready for guests. This hotel is showing its age. Some efforts are being made to spruce things up, but there is a long way to go before I would consider it more than a one-star motel.

"I stayed here for a conference held nearby. The room was dirty. The shower had mold growing in it & had a very mildewy shower curtain. The lighting/ventilation in the bathroom was very poor. Many of the ""amenities"" were NOT present in my guestroom. There was a TV that got poor reception. It had no remote. The door was tricky to open & close. The bed had the barest minimum of bedding on it - the pillows didn't even have a pillow cover on them - just one thin pillowcase each."

Tub was dirty, andhad hair in it. Would not go back to this hotel, staff could hardly speak English and was not friendly.

I would just like to let you know that this was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. The bathroom had mold and the floor was coming up. The people were very rude and unhelpful. I would never recommend this hotel

It was horrible our room was dirty, light bulb in bathroom was exposed missing it's cover. There was mold in the shower. We called the front desk who said they would work on it and call us back. After one and a half hours we had to call them back, I was then told they had no one to clean the room and that they could not change the shower curtain, nor was there any other room to change to. Finally three hours later both guys at the desk took me to another room to inspect and offered it to me, after they had told me there were no other rooms.

"The hotel, was older and needed updating. The remote control did not work, and staff was unfamiliar of Chicagoland area. not real helpful. Calling the office was about impossible, because they did not answer phone, was easier to just go there. It was an ok stay because was not inroom alot, but probably would not go back"
