Good Location, excellent price, good service, it's a little run down but not bad for the price.

My boyfriend and I went to Prescott over the 4th of July weekend, to experience Frontier Days. This hotel wasnt our first choice, as we were looking for a nicer hotel close to Whiskey Row. Unfortunately, all hotels were booked except for this one and the Super 8. To start off our unsatisfactory experience, we waited over 15 in line (behind 1 person) to check in. The woman pulled up our reservation, charged us the quoted price (around $80), and sent us on our way. The room was clearly unworthy of $80, as the bed felt broken, the bathroom was dirty, and the air conditioner took all day to cool down the room. The only thing we found of "value" at America's Best Value Inn was the cheap cab ride from the hotel to Whiskey Row. The next morning when we went to checkout, I dropped off the keys to a different front desk clerk. She asked if I would like a reciept, and out of habbit, I said yes. When she printed it out, she said that I had booked a senior citizen rate and I would have to pay the difference! I told the clerk that there must have been a mistake, and the woman who cheked us in the day before said nothing about this mistake. She was rude, she wouldnt accept the error as a random mistake, and demanded an extra $20! I wouldnt have been mad if this errror was pointed out at check in. but the fact that I was charged TWICE for a room that wasnt worth half the going rate was rediculous! To top off the horrible customer service, I called the owner of the hotel to compain. He also refused to refund the additional charge, and basically called me a liar! What happened to "the customer's always right"? I would NEVER reccomend this hotel to another person. Noone deserves to be treated with such disrespect. Thankfully, I called Orbitz to complain. Their customer service was great, as they gave me a credit towards my next purchace with them in the amount I was overcharged.

A nice place to stay while visiting relatives in Skull Canyon.

We booked a room that was to have two queen sized beds and we got two full sized beds, in a room that smelled like urine. Someone decided to work on their vehicle at 2 a.m. right outside our room. We were disappointed in our choice of hotels, just goes to show that you cannot believe everything you read. On a positive note: Prescott, Arizona is a wonderful place to go for the 4th of July weekend. The community is very patriotic - the parade was great and the late night street dance, fun ... the fireworks, unmatched.... I could go on all day!

we came down for the 4th of july and rodeo...this hotel was within walking distance to downtown...and we also took cabs from whiskey row...only 5 bucks.... the rooms were clean, had cable....coffee..and quite....staff was very friendly and helpful...we found no problem with anything...just wish they had been a little cheaper..we will go again...and stay here...

We went to Frontier Days Parade, craft fair, rodeo, toured and hiked Goldwater and Lynx lakes and visited mountain model homes for sale.

I booked a room for a quiet weekend while visiting family and was satisfied with my stay. It would have been nice to get to enjoy the pool but it was unavailable due to rain. The location was central and easy to find. I would stay here again.

While the staff was pleasant, the hotel itself was shabby, smelly, noisy and uncomfortable. The pool should have been a plus, but was not heated to a comfortable swimming temperature for the area. Also there were "unsavory" looking men loitering about the parking area in the evening. The registration clerk enclosed in what seemed to be a bullet-proof cubicle was quite off-putting. The saving grace for this hotel was the low rate, but even so, I felt I'd been cheated. Unlikely to return.

Upon arrival, there was nobody behind the bulletproof plexiglass window that encases the front desk. There was a note telling me which extension to dial on the lobby phone to check in. When I called, I couldn't understand what the person who picked up said, so I just said I wanted to check in and hoped for the best. The receptionist was helpful, only because I actually got into my room, but she did not go out of her way to be polite or welcoming. I felt like I'd put her out by showing up. I originally reserved a room at this hotel because it advertises wireless internet. It turns out that it is not free, and the signal is very very weak. If you are looking for a cheap place to sleep, this might be a good place for you. If you are looking for a good place to stay and relax in addition to getting a good night's rest, this is not what you are looking for. I wouldn't be surprised if this hotel has hourly rates.

The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. the housekeeper was more than friendly, she helped us find some stores and restaurants to keep us entertained.

The America Best Value Inn in Prescott, AZ was rather shabby in appearance, the carpeting in my room was quite dirty. The bed pillows were worn out and uncomfortable. Also the staff person at the front desk kept phoning my room to connect me to someone who was asking for me, even though I told her that I didn't want to speak to this someone due to the fact that I did not know her. The phone in my room rang at 1:00 a.m. and I assumed it was the same situation so did not answer it. My standards are not that high, so for me to be dissatisfied with this hotel must mean that it is pretty bad.

America's Best Value Inn in Prescott is in a good location for anyone on a road trip. Easy walk to the Old Courthouse in good weather, and very close to major highways. No hotel dining, minimal Continental breakfast, but there are many eating places in the vicinity. Pool in back is nicely private. Staff was very helpful!

The America's Best Value Inn, Precott, AZ was all we needed for our overnight stay. We pulled a motorcycle trailer and there was ample parking, which was a must for us. Also was easy to pull in and go out of. It was a short distance from downtown and easy access to the highways out of town for riding the area. The room was clean, bed comfortable enough for a one night stay. The bathroom was small, but functional. Nothing fancy, but had all the amenities we needed: tv, a/c, good lighting and safe for valuables, which we used. Simple, that's all we needed for our one night stay. We also made use of the continental breakfast, but only for juice. The coffeemaker in the room was all I really cared about! All in all a good nights stay.
