We booked a room via Orbitz on Thursday nite at an affordable rate. On arrival, they provided me a receipt to sign that had no rate quoted. They indicated that the contract was between Orbitz and I. They would not quote the rate. They photocopied my credit card and drivers license. At my protest they indicated that it was the franchise policy in case I destroyed anything in the room. I requested that they cancel the Orbitz fee and offerd to pay cash to get my personal data back. They indicated they could not do that. On the desk was a photocopied piece of paper that said "no refund". The refund policy on-line was a $25 charge to cancel at any time....and $75 or full room charge thereafter....which ironically was higher than my Orbitz rate. I asked for a copy of the company policy and they had none. However, they indicated that they would give me the photocopy of my credit card and driver's license on checkout...which they did. I can only trust God and the Prosecuting Attorney that they did not save and sell or use a separate copy. My primary concern at this point is the franchise, and not the staff. This booking was to attend my beloved mother-in-law's funeral. I did not state this directly, but of course this is the reason I did not walk out. Of course they already had my Orbitz booking and who had charged my credit card. Since they had no wireless I could not look up my account to make a logical argument as to why I should be able to pay cash. I always try to find fairness in any situation. However, this is tough. I can say that the room, besides the door slamming, was not bad. However, this was the most unsettling financial experience I have ever experienced. I wanted to give rating of one but my wife made me give it a two because she did not have to vacuum or make the bed. I can also say that the motel is within 1/2 mile of Hoeckle's Bakery and Stonies Sausage Shop which is (two of the best family owned businesses in Missouri, therefore worth the stop in Perryvi

I liked the person at the front desk; very nice - although he couldn't remember the street I was looking for - he was helpful. No indoor pool - I like to use pools at night when I travel. The only thing I didn't like was that the continental breakfast needed to be updated a little. The waffle iron probably needed to be replaced. It was filthy and looked very old.

Hey there, The front desk staff is ok, not to friendly not very helpful either. But in my case since I was traveling on business, know how to read a map and find my way around it was doable. But if you are need much assistance with getting around or directions forget asking the desk clerk. Not a lot for kids around the hotel they have a pool but only an outside one so that doesn't help the winter travelers or vacationers. The breakfast is adequate, not much in the form of taste but it will hold you for a bit. I have much better in my travels and many years of hotel stays. The room was musky even though it was a non-smoking room it was not a fresh clean smell. More like a stale old closet that has been closed up for many years. Now some good things, the hotel is in a excellent location directly off the highway. Many many stores around the hotel lots of restaurants too. They have everything from a dollar store to an upscale women clothing store, fast food, take out to family dinning. So if you are looking for a place to lay your head for the night or maybe two this is the place. If you are looking to stay a longer time visiting friends, family or vacation not the place for you then.Good Luck and Happy Travels

We didn't have a bad stay. We had arrived late on the first night of our trip. It was nice to have a room on the 1st floor having a dog. The room was comfortable and we slept well waking refreshed and ready to continue our trip.

Receptionist was very nice. Our room didn't have the A/C turned on when we arrived, ashes on floor. We were disappointed that our room wasn't air conditioned, as it was over 100 degrees outside that day. The bathroom was dirty and there were ashes on the floor. The receptionist, however, was very friendly. Upon leaving the next day, I heard the maids talking about personal problems and swearing.

Rooms and breakfast. They didn't have a lit sign. They were changing over from best western. I was well pleased with the motel and would recommend it to friends.

It was available. A/c non-functional. Might be a nice hotel, but we arrived at 11:30 pm with 2 young kids who went straight to bed. It wasn't clear that the a/c wasn't working until they were asleep.
