A good value for the price. The room was basic, but clean. It is next to Highway 1, so some traffic noise is to be expected. There never seemed to be anyone at the desk, but they came out when the buzzer was pushed, No free internet access. (6.95/day).

Very comfortable beds, WOW. Heavy cigarette smoke on upper floors. Has the modern touches and only blocks to the ocean.

Courteous manager. Located a bit out of town for walking, but in a car no problem. Bus runs nearby. We had a suite with a microwave and refrigerator. Not fancy but a good place to base out of. Wireless internet was good.

The staff was friendly, room where clean, they changed the bed every day. Noisy , right on the main road, the pillows are very flat and hard. The hotel was conveniently located for me. My son lives close by. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room it self was comfortable for the rate. It did have a fridge and microwave, that was a surprise. So if anyone needs a more resonable hotel to stay in I would recomend it. Not alot of frills. Downside is it is next to the main road and noisey, bring earplugs:) The pillows are flat and hard:( I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic hotel spot.

This was one of the dirtiest rooms I have ever stayed in. Carpet stained, furniture stained, curtains stained, bathroom walls stained. When I rotated the TV there was a black oily substance on the TV cab surface. Room was advertised as non-smoking and there was even a sticker on the door but the room smelled of smoke and there were ashtrays in the nightstand. One electrical outlet did not work.

Comfortable, friendly staff. Room had musty, mold like smell? Cant explain that any better. Nice hotel. Bit pricey for the area, because the area does not seem to be very good. Good hotel in not so good area. Other than that, an excellent staff, very friendly. Only bad side, was it had a moldy, musky smell in the rooms. Very noticeable upon entering. Carpets could have used some hot shot, an on the spot carpet cleaner that inexpensive and easy for the maid service to use and I highly recommend you invest in some. Otherwise, not bad at all!

It was in easy walking distance of the beach, had good sized room, easy entrance and exit. The continental breakfast was very sparse: sugared cereal, toast, and apples/bananas. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and large. I would stay here again, no problem.

The room was very large, with a side room with sofa and chairs. The parking. Definitely above average for an economy hotel. It really could be a two star rather than one based on the quality and size of the rooms. Also, half of the rooms have ocean views. The hotel is only several hundred yards from the ocean and a very nice walking trail along the coast, including a pier. Easy access to restaurants and delivery food.

Location and cleanliness. Smell from family cooking. Great location for access to san Francisco and Santa Cruz. The hotel is clean and quiet and the parking is adequate.

Convenient location next to freeway. Odors mold smoke, old, needs updated. This hotel is very old and will not appeal to anyone except the traveler who is dead tired and needs a clean bed and hot shower. Poor decor, everything is old & outdated. Smells strongly of smoke, mold and damp odors. Toaster & juice machine both broken room temp milk and cheap cereal constitute the continental breakfast. Chairs ripped & dirty windows sealed shut. Low on scale even for an economy hotel.

Excellent location, staff ready to welcome us. No space to eat breakfast. The hotel met our expectations. I would recommend it and use it again.

Nothing! Everything! The none smoking room smelled heavy with smoke. The room was not the room we requested. The staff was extremely rude!

Nothing. Everything. It looks great on the outside, but the inside was much different. It was horribly dirty, with a yellow slime dripping from the windows. Worst experience ever!

Great location to beach and freeway. Not like the picture and the pillows were hard. I would not stay here again for the price, but for a quick stay over, sure.

The room was nice. The hotel public areas had a very bad odor but the room itself was not as bad. The staff was very helpful. This is the first time this happened to us. The staff called other hotels in the area to help us find a room. Everyone else was also full. The staff ended up cleaning up a room that someone just checked out of and finding a place for us. The hotel itself was in a pretty shady location and had a bad smell. The room on the other hand was just as nice as your average hotel room, clean but nothing too special.

Location close to ocean. Check in clerk may have tried to cheat me into paying twice. Basic accommodations a few blocks from the ocean and within easy walking distance of two bars with live music plus several restaurants.

Proximity to beach and freeway to San Francisco. It smelled terrible, both in the room and all public areas, and we could hear the neighbors way too clearly. The location is prime - right next to the beach in Pacifica, ideal for walks and such. Also, it was so easy to hop on the freeway and head to San Francisco which is where we spent all our waking hours. The staff was really friendly. The downside though is that the whole place smelled awful -- the rooms, the halls, the elevator, the lobby. It was a sort of mildew sour rotting smell. They keep all the windows open, but it still smelled. The fridge in our room was loud but didn't actually get cold (at all), which meant our food went bad. The walls between rooms are so thin we could hear our neighbors, enjoying themselves romantically, which is really not something we wanted to hear (but don't begrudge them their loving'). The continental breakfast was wonder bread, cornflakes and oj -- not an issue for us b/c we were headed to the city, but if you like a little something in the morning this wouldn't be a great way to get started.Basically, for the price it was okay, but we won't stay there again mostly because the smell was awful.

It was convenient. Traffic Noise. The first room was noisy with traffic and the TV had poor reception. They gave us a larger room with a kitchenette for the same price. Neither room were exceptionally clean but were comfortable. Staff was very courteous.
